Motherboard asrock 970 extreme 3 rev2
gpu Asus r9280x directcu ii top
After alot of tries i manage the second card which is with the power riser be recognized by bios.
Then i tried to see if it works on pci x1 but it didnt. Then i tired again on pci x16 and again nothing.
So to sum up the card was working for about 6 hours in pci x16 but now it isnt recognized again after i pluged it off and reinstall it.
The card is been recognized if no power riser is used.
the thing that it worked for some time made me wonder if the cables arent connected very good but after allot of tries (to make sure they are siting on the slots properly) still isnt recognized by the bios.
Also i have 4 pci risers and tried all of them.

Greetings just have a quick question
i bought theese risers
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PCI-Express-PCI-E-1x-male-to-16X-Riser-Flex-Extension-Cable-Power-Connector-/191066030288?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c7c6c40d0

Theese rises comes with 1 pin molex and i m trying to connect them with the psu's 4 pin female connector one like this
http://www.corsair.com/en/parts/psu-parts/ax-series-molex-peripheral-cable-with-4-connectors-compatible-with-ax1200.html

Problem is it doesnt seem to work, do i maybe need somekind of an adapter?

Also shouldnt this riser work without conecting the molex?(i ve read somewhere that some powered risers dont work  if they arent conected).

 thnx in advance
