Biostar TB85 works adding one extra AMD RX series card with the splitter on the last PCI-E slot. The TB250 should work since the Intel B250 chipset can handle up to 12 native PCI-E lanes. BitsBeTrippin also used two splitters on the Asus B250 mining motherboard to get 21 cards to work in Windows in his live stream. He also did a video review on using the PCI-E splitter boards.

Seriously, they do work, but are finicky to get working with many motherboards and in most cases you can only get one or two extra cards per PCI-E slot.

If they work with your hardware, it's obviously worth saving some money on decreasing the amount of rigs needed for the same amount of videocards. These multipliers tend to work better with amd then with nvidia cards. Also your motherboard must be capable of seeing this amount of videocards - better check for user experience with your particular motherboard. And be cautious, there were also cases when these multipliers were hampering motherboards bioses (gigabyte am3 970 boards).
Are these multipliers worth the money or are they just a way to overload the bus? If worth the money, any recommendations? Thanks!
