I have not looked at the eBay listing but...
a potential issue is the power issue. Search the forum here and you will find bitcointalkers who almost burned their houses down because they didn't use powered risers in their multi-gpu rigs.

The problem with those is that they're so damn expensive. I'm quite positive it will work, but why spend $30 to go from PCI to PCIe, and then another $20 for a riser? There are cheaper options, so I doubt many people have gone this route.

What about those old Magma boards with 14 slots of PCI? Why cant we use 14 of these adapters?
