Im not going to buy it, it is way over priced. I was just cruious in the event I can purchase them in bulk overseas for a signifigant amount less than retail. i.e. $150 etc. There are also models that have 4 extra PCIE slots.
Then please do let everyone know when that happens.

I'm not entirely clear on how much bandwidth mining really needs, as it seems lots of people report nearly full MHash out of x1 slots, so if you could find something that was 16x more price efficient (4x double slot PCI-E lanes for 1/4 price) that'd be a very intriguing find. Not sure where the price point is for it being worthwhile, but I'd say that's pretty close there.
x1 slot is all you need for mining.  It uses way less bandwidth than even an x1 slot provides.

See, now if you could get a hold of those for $150 each with 4 PCIe slots, I'd definitely be interested!

I'm not sure I see the point.  It takes up one PCIe slot on your motherboard and provides one slot in an external case.

Oh, and you can build a whole new box for less than the $400 this thing costs.

For $405?

You realize that you can build a 2nd computer with two PCIs slots for $250 or so, right?  I know you said you didn't want to, but $405 for a device like that is just crazy IMO.

Has anyone tried using one of these: http://www.mypccase.com/expcenwi80wp1.html to add additional Cards to an existing miner?

I only have one PCIE slot on my motherboard and I would like to add an additional 6970 without having to build a whole new system. Will this work?

Thanks.
