Thanks for letting me know, anyhow I still need a riser ribbon, Ill have to look and see what leftover ATI/AMD GPUs I have.

2nd: Any cable will work and you can both save alot of money and help out the bitcoin community by buying from one of the reputable dealers like CablesAreUs or several others.
So, just leave the card alone, or sell it, you wont get anything out of it, you power will cost more than what you earn, and that would be pennies a year.

Are there any PCI Express x16 rissor ribbons that anyone can recommend off Amazon. As the title implies I want to recommision an GTS 8800 for mining with the riser ribbon as there isn't enough room in my pc.
