Was it easy to redeem them? Did they have a QR code?

I guess you sweep the BTC first, then move the BTC to a new address, then use the same private key to claim BCH?

Yes the small round underneath the holo has a QR code aswell as the private key written. It is some sort of compressed key though, they all started with an S and there was significantly less numbers/letters in the key.

You always move your BTC first before claiming your BCH, I don't trust the program I was using so if I lost anything it would have just been the BCH if the program was malicious. It's super easy to use electron cash(PC) and just select keys -> import and you input the private key and it grabs your BCH and you ship it straight over to bittrex and dump immediately for btc.

I ran malwarebytes before and after using and removing electron cash and it didn't come up with anything. It's just a .exe and as far as I know doesn't install anything on your pc as you can't find it in add remove programs.. you just delete the .exe when you're done. Someone better at computering might be able to chime in on that.

Glad you asked this as it's been in my mind of late. My main question really is lets say in 2 months each Cas Coin has 4 coins (I believe this would end up being the case after Bit Gold and whenever Segwit2x happens) how big of a pain in the arse will it be to move all coins out?  5mn project, an hour?

I remember reading Bitcointalk's briefing of how to separate BTC and BCH and after reading it I was happy to say no thanks right now, mess with it another day.  For a non-coder or PC wiz, looked daunting.

In the 0.3 to 0.35 range. Wasn't going to do them all but it kept rising so I couldn't resist.

nothing wrong with playing your own game, that was a huge pop on BCH

Just letting you know right now, I'm kinda weird.
So did you sell for bitcoin?

What price did you manage to nab?

There's no way it was better to peel them than to sell them

I haven't seen bcash increase any Casascius premium yet. You didn't see it hit 0.4btc per bch? So you're saying you'd pay over 2.8BTC for a stack of these?  Hit me up genius

Selling the poker chips or showing them off?   Grin

I haven't decided yet. Probably cost more to ship than they're worth

I’d be interested in buying 1-2 of these empty chips. I need a black and not sure I’ll ever buy one loaded

Let's see what are they worth now. I'll offer a half millibit for them all. Grin hope the Bcash got you lots of real cold hard Bitcoin! Other people with poker chips are thanking you for increasing the value of theirs by a bit too. Thanks a handy payoff for everyone.
