Upon doing a little research, I stumbled upon the following: An ellipsis at the end of a sentence with a sentence following should be preceded by a period (for a total of four dots).

I'm curious as to if the following is correct given the above. (please chime in)

Of course, some of those 555 revisions were due to misplacing that squiggly thingy (whatever it's [there's one now, and now another] is called) sometimes before an 's' and sometimes after (sometimes both). Not to mention the missing or not needed commas and nesting brackets edits.
