Try to focus on your own education, that is the only thing you can do to help by setting an experiential example. Cryptosphere has space enough for all kinds of people, At their own pace of learning.

We all have to understand that it's impossible to make profits by everybody. Always is someone who loses when others earns. Even during the hype, when we can see a lot of new people and the demand exceeds supply, when the price still grows up, there has to be the moment when it all stop for a moment and some people lose their money. Mostly they resign or take more risky decisions, here is the place to educate them, that it is not a good strategy.

We cannot do anything to rectify it. People can learn only from their mistakes or should have the mentality to have a clear research prior to the active involvement into bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency investment. Maybe it sounds little difficult to understand, but putting little effort will help know the reality and move further.

It is human nature to get greedy when the price is rising, every one wants to get on the hype train. And also to sell when the markets are crashing. Intelligent thing is to do the opposite, but emotions take the better of us.

do not worry. Cryptocurrency is a world of young people. There are stupid people but I believe smart people are the majority. The news above FB does not affect the cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is a future.

During these past few months what i noticed on my fb account is, Many new people are entering the crypto space because of hype. We know what will happen to people who really does not know what they are doing, these people ended up complaining that this crypto space is crap and only the nerds can make profit here.
What can we do to prevent or minimize this wrong approach to the crypto space (because i know that it somehow hurts the reputation of the blockchain) ?
I really want to help but i think what we can do is to tell them to study investing first. Some people listen but majority of them don't. What are your thoughts ? Do you think of any solution to this or even if it just for minimizing this will be a great help for this community.
