Bitcoin and Ethereum for sure will be held in my wallet. I also sold a few of my altcoins which had a good rate of increase lately such as with few amount of meme tokens, slp, and the others. Was really happy that the market prices of those altcoins managed to have a good price recovery for a short period of time however, as we all know, nothing is too unrealistic to be having a consistent uprise movement, with large rate of increase, for a long period of time. There will always be a tendency for a sudden market crash especially for those tokens which are too volatile. Only major tokens are ones which can resist and slow down the decrease a bit, which makes them a safer coin to hold in my opinion.
A tip of advice via experience is that AltCoins ain't good to hold for long and may reach a total lost peak of you tends to hold til you reaches its ATH. So I chooses to sell once I'm comfortable with he profit it may offer in the main time. This not like the bitcoin that you can hold longer and so also the more profits it offers.
Indeed, what's important is to be aware of your risk appetite and to be realistic of things by means of learning from the past and what the chart says, basically. It is okay to desire big profit from your investment but never be too greedy to embrace that much of risk you are not even ready to take the consequences with. Manipulation of the big investors will be always a threat for you to watch out if you are after long term holding with altcoins. Enough warning for you to not be too confident just because a bullish pattern is observable.

Just with the coins I am holding, I am not yet satisfied with the profit generated and I also think these coins should be held for a long time. When I say long time I mean even after halving, I am still holding these coins. So right now there is no coin that I will be selling as of today only.

But I am interested in short term trading and I might also try to learn that to take advantage of many of the price changes that happen these days.
What are those coins you are holding anyway? Maybe they are not that good enough because I think a lot of good coins are now rising greatly and this may continue right after the halving so it's advised to continue hodling them for for a while.

There is still lots of unmined supply left in BTC so there will be more halvings to come. Are you sure you are going to HODL that long? Hehe. You are interested in short-term trading, so when did you plan on starting it? But it would be better to start it as soon as possible because your passion for it may dissolve later on, once your mind is occupied by any other things, especially if they really good.

Except bitcoin the next one is Ethereum and Solana coins that one can invest in it. Now that we are in the bull market many are selling and mostly those who started the investment in the year 2022. And Ethereum and Solana are  some of the altcoins you can invest for a long term and will make enough profit in them when the price rise again. And as I said before if you are investing in bitcoin now that the Market is on the high side, it is not advisable but you can buy if you are planning to sell them in the next bull market of 2029 or 2030.

If you are investing, invest in a project that you can make profit in the future. And not all altcoins have the potential in the future because most of them are self pump projects to deceive people. Self pumping projects in the sense that the developers are the ones invest enough money there for the time being and after that period they would take their monies back and the project would gone back to zero.

some people are still confident and holding onto their tokens for the bull run that will actually occur over the next few months.
but for those who have made a profit and they feel that taking profits is not a bad thing.
because storing it for too long and not enjoying the results is also not very good, unless we set a target for a coin when to buy and sell it.

I sold all the new altcoins I got from airdrops and bounties then I bought ETH and BNB because I don't think new altcoins are worth investing in long term. For me the only thing that can provide comfort without excessive panic is investing in BNB and ETH. and for me the only investment that can compete with the security of bitcoin investment is investing in ETH and BNB.

Selling or not, actually depends on what strategy you have. Personally, I haven't sold it yet, but maybe some people have taken advantage of the price increase, and are waiting for cheaper prices to increase their assets.
I think right now so many people are waiting for a rise after the halving. I had a bad experience regarding this. A few years ago, I owned ethereum, and sold before the halving happened. At that time, the price of ethereum was indeed rising, but after the halving, the price rose even higher, and I was quite sorry. So, I think there's no harm in holding back until after the halving happens.

Ask yourself these questions and compare the risk in altcoins investment with bitcoin investment, then analyse the risk and give yourself the right answer because to me, there is no coin in this cryptocurrencies space that deserves to be held like bitcoin. Other coins have a higher risk than bitcoin, so you can’t hold it for a long time like bitcoin.

I agree with you. I have my Fiat exit method where I will buy some altcoins in this bull season and then sell them when they get a good price. And I will buy BTC and hold it for a long time. I think it's altseason and it's a good time to coumpunding your money. I will keep holding BTC because I believe BTC will save my money from inflation.
usually a lot of people do exactly that investing in altcoin as a mean to easily multiple their money and we are talking about 5-10x multiply their initial capital and then compounding 50% of their profits into bitcoin, its like hitting two birds with one stone and I've done exactly this with of course some accumulation of ethereum or you can say it compounding since whenever i got profit i invested back to either ethereum or bitcoin anyway.
its really best way to go if you are expecting bullrun or at least patience enough to be waiting for bullrun. after all usually both prices of bitcoin and altcoin in general move with unison this but the thing is with altcoin sometime the price increase is massive i remember when bitcoin was pumping few days ago so many altcoin actually scored 100%-200% thats what im talking about risky investment but high return.
its definitely deserving of investment with the money we can afford to lose, those that put money they can't afford to lose well be prepared to regret it if things goes south.
always remember that with altcoin the risk is high.

There are many conversations that I jumped into this morning, and i see a lot of people talking about the price increment in cryptocurrency generally. Bitcoin's upward price movement had also affected altcoins to follow suit. However, i created this topic because i know there are lots of investors here i want to know if you are investing in altcoins. Which of the altcoins can you sell now to take advantage of those sweet gains, and which of them are you leaving for better future profits? I had the belief that there are altcoins that have so much potential, and selling them off now won't do any better since they deserve to be held for a long time, just like bitcoin.
Most altcoins are only good for short/mid time speculation and leaving early enough so you don't end up being a bag holder.  Once there was a time when altcoins were only good for getting more bitcoin, but now, i guess, they are good for getting some respectable altcoins as well, like ETH and... well, at least ETH.

But you shouldn't really bother yourself asking what others do. What do you want to do? There are some people selling them all the time, just like some are buying. In bull run there are just more buyers and holders. That's just how markets work.

And what you see and hear people speaking is just a tiny fraction of what they are actually speaking. And it's happening in your specific feed and specific bubble. That doesn't tell you about actual trends. That just tells you about your personal feed of information. Real trends you can follow by using services like google trends, dune.com and other data analysis services.

Most altcoins have the ability to move again, but taking profits now is a good idea so that you can acquire and trade additional coins when the project drops again.
There are some coins that still have a chance to pump; there is no need to sell now because we expect Bitcoin to be halved in a few months; if we continue to hold some coins, we can make more profit, whereas if we sell some of our coins now to take the small profit we have, we may regret it later if we see how the project progresses.

Selling altcoins during a bull run is advantageous as it yields substantial returns. Currently, it might be prudent to hold onto cryptocurrencies while anticipating the halving event, as historically, a bull run typically follows. Selling crypto now could mean missing out on potential profits during the bullish phase. Patience is crucial, and at this juncture, the best course of action may be to accumulate crypto with the potential to surge during a bull run.

Current prices are not satisfactory and based on the fact that the bull run is yet to come, we shouldn't be selling our assets this soon in my opinion. I know that Bitcoin has already touched $64k and we are still floating above $60k, but we are yet to witness the halving event and the actual bull run only starts after that based on how past cycles have been. So, I think we should still be holding on to our assets and wait for better prices.
That being said, I know a lot of people are selling their assets and taking profit because everyone has their personal financial goals and targets and when they are met, they tend to take profit regardless of the future opportunities that might come.

most altcoin prices had already increased and this is a good reason to just keep holding instead. but there are some tokens that i might sell early if i wanted to move to another because it's more aggressively pumping than this one. VET is taking so long to jump while SHIB can just take a few days to rise to 110%. it doesn't sound fair enough to just decide to look at it this way.

cardano also increased higher just yesterday too and it is a good indication that there are still big investors in this project.

There are a lot of people here who are invested in altcoins because it's the natural cycle mostly in the cryptocurrency market. I think with the recent rise in price has made crypto more exposed again and a lot of people are buying into it and more exposed with what the recent happenings are.

If you start to hear people who don't usually talk about crypto or non-tech-savvy people, it means it might be really mainstream. It could be an indicator, you know?

This month opens with good crypto prices including bitcoin, even though you asked about altcoins but you discussed bitcoin history, I also store bitcoin to accompany it to its gold Grin are you asking last month or this year full? I store ethreum L1 and L2, bnb, matic. although not much but enough for my supplies when urgent, or there are certain events.

Speaking of altcoins I store in usdt and will dca when there is a break between the coins, I think it is very practical and easy to use because almost all pairs use usd.

You should sell all if you are already decided to sell all your holdings because all will dump if the market is already in bear season. It’s better to purchase once the market already correct rather than taking profit from some of your altcoin and hold the rest for future value because they will surely dump too.

It’s either you will sell all or hold all because doing partial on altcoins might just bring you to breakeven once your remaining altcoin for holdings dump hard. Much better if you will hold Bitcoin long term than altcoin because there’s no altcoin that will grow continuously in the long run. They just keep repeating the cycle of pump and dump.

In the first place, bitcoin is not an altcoin. Alternative coin are use to describe coin other coins apart from Bitcoin. Secondly, I don't see any reason why one will sell is altcoin now when we are very close to the bullrun except if the person needs the money urgently. I'm keeping all my bags till the next bullrun. I pray for better profit for myself during this coming bull run.

Yes you are right about altcoin. Most of them already pumped and some of the holders will ended up booking profit by thinking it is the peak of the price. They will miss the biggest rally this time. So there is no points of selling your altcoin right now when you are very close to make lofe changing money from the market. Some says people will be able to make generation wealth in this run.

If you want to find out the reason why people are holding on, that is good so that you can learn.

I am holding my BTC because i have not accumulated enough and i cannot spare to lose any fraction right now because the market is not yet in a complete bull run. We all know how the bitcoin bull run is, and when it comes, i will know. My target is self-known, and if i have not reached my target of accumulation, i cannot sell. Maybe others have personal reasons, some may reason that the price has not reached there sales target, which is why they are not selling. But a wise investor would only sell if he had enough cryptocurrency in his portfolio, and he would only sell if he had enough bitcoin, leaving bitcoin behind for a better purpose.

I will keep on holding BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, SOL, LTC because those are the main coins that I trust. I am not planning on having anymore than that, not anytime soon and I will wait for the bull run. I have invested a certain amount and I have always said the same thing, if I reach x10 ever one day, which believe it or not sometimes happens during bull periods, then I will sell most of it, keep half, and the other half would go towards something else.

Until then, which I doubt would happen now because it would require like 300k bitcoin price, I think I am going to just keep holding these. It would have to be some amazing superb project for me to sell some of these and buy that one, and I do not see that happening anytime soon.

In these cryptocurrencies investment, I observe something, which is target. Every investor has a target in which they want their money to reach, before they sell the coin they invested in.  so you can’t question anyone who refuses to sell their coin at the moment; maybe they are still waiting for the time to reach so they can sell. So you are asking why they are still holding their investment. They are investors; they know what will favour them, so let them continue holding it. Maybe the coin they invested in hasn’t reached the pump that they will sell.

You can’t ask such a question because you didn’t even mention a time frame. Let’s say someone says that BNB is the coin, but I had only bought BNB not long ago, it’s not true for me that it’s the coin to give me gains. You can only make those profit depending on when you bought the coins/tokens. You would have rather asked the top altcoins that is best to invest in even over the long run, since you sound like a long-term investor.

Personally, the plan has always been to buy during the dip then sell to make more profit during the bull but looking at the current price movement of bitcoin and the way some altcoins are following suit there is a probability of more increase in the price ot bitcoin and since most alt coins are also pumping I plan on selling some ETH and a little amount from BTC.

IMO, everything is just at the beginning of the bullish cycle, I'm still trying to accumulate more for the portfolio and rebuild my market access strategy. Each of us's investments will be different, so don't worry too much about other people's profits/losses. Some people like short-term activities and they can act on that choice, and so do those who do it. In the long term, they will also have their own strategies.

Although with altcoins I have also made a bit of profit, and I also have thoughts about an upcoming correction in the market and the emergence of good buying opportunities, but everything is speculation and one should be ready for any scenario.

Every indications points that we're entering a very profitable bull season, so far you're holding a reputable crypto, now is not a time to even contemplate selling, you should just continue accumulating and hurdling till we see a new ATH in Bitcoin. Except if an investor is holding a project for short term or if he's not confident that Bitcoin will impact it to be more profitable in bull run, then he can sale and hopefully enjoy whatever he can get now. I think that it'll be premature to sale any top altcoin that you're hodling, because massive ROI awaits those who can wait.

Adding the issue that I think about taking profit, do not be too certain about what the target price will reach when you have it in mind and the other person just wants to take profit to satisfy satisfaction. It's like a $1000 investor can't understand the feelings of people who spend $100m in this field.

As long as you feel everything is happy, don't talk about future regrets, be realistic in the present that the position has changed positively and the term "keeping profits" is really difficult for many people. have no experience with it.

Investing in altcoin means investing in Ethereum, Solana and BNB.  Those who invested in Ethereum for a long time are now selling because the market value is much better now.  Others are holding that more values will increase.  Holding and selling is subjective and dependent on strategy.  Someone sells immediately when the market conditions are good.  Some people sit hoping for more profit even after the market condition improves.  But now almost everyone who held for a long time is selling.  Expect to hold when the price drops again.

Almost all altcoins are increasing in price and all of them are giving good return but no one will want to sell their bitcoin currently as everyone knows that halving is near and during halving the price will be more than current value and if they sell currently then they will regret during halving..

Currently I use my money to invest in several altcoins and take profit from there. I am collecting profits from various altcoins because now I think we have entered the altcoin bullrun season. And I will use all the profits to buy and invest in Bitcoin ahead of the halving. Altcoins do not give you security like Bitcoin. It's safer to put everything in Bitcoin when the altseason is over.

That's it. Investors may have accumulated enough and had topped some profitable amounts in this halving season but yet that is no the end of the profitable season. After halving comes the bull run when Investors would hammer pro incomely. Investors that would tend to sell their coins at this time would have a lot to regret because of they could hold for a longer time aside hodling for a long term investment they would meet with a massive profits of the season. I would had said enough income to be received but honestly, no amount of income is more than enough and no amount is also too low but yet everyone wants to make it big in their investments.
So, I'll say that I'm still holding my coins while we hit the ATH in the market.

I am sure that people is gossiped about bitcon those who have not even invested a couple of dollars in it. This is the category of people who watch from the sidelines and just want to chat about news, like the rise (fall) in the bitcoin's price.

Bitcoin's upward price movement had also affected altcoins to follow suit.
Bitcoin is a trend-setting flagship. It's always been like this.

However, i created this topic because i know there are lots of investors here i want to know if you are investing in altcoins.
In my case, this only brought losses.

Which of the altcoins can you sell now to take advantage of those sweet gains, and which of them are you leaving for better future profits?
Altcoins that I would like to get rid of now are practically worthless and I don’t see any other option but to wait for their possible recovery.

I had the belief that there are altcoins that have so much potential, and selling them off now won't do any better since they deserve to be held for a long time, just like bitcoin.
I also believed (many said so) about the great potential of these altcoins and it deserve to be held for a long time. Nothing good came of this. Most altcoins should be sold as soon as it make any profit.

Apart from ethereum and bitcoin I don't know any other coin currently on the rise, and selling so soon in the bull is not such a smart idea speaking for bitcoin, bitcoin has not even exceeded it's last ATH yet and we are expecting some kind of new ATH this month and also some consolidation, ethereum is still on the rise and I'm hearing some person's say that it might hit 10k which on my own speculation I don't think ethereum has quite the demand to pull of such a pump, bitcoin now has many channels that are contributing to it's high demand, but I don't know about ethereum.

To me selling now is a waste of time and should be reconsidered especially if you are in bitcoin we still have quite the march to move up and the bull run is still early, at least wait after the halving.

If someone was accumulating altcoin in the whole bear market, then this is not the right time to sell i think. The initial rally was quite impressive, and many people wanted to sell off to book the profit but as expected, this rally is the beginning of a bigger one in the future. If you are already in profit with some of your old tokens, then you can take out your seed money from there and reinvest it in some other new project with new narratives to diversify your portfolio. Selling off your entire portfolio might not be a good idea and you will end up regretting your action.

How many altcoins are even on the rise now, it's not as tho the bull has affected them so much yet, it's not yet time this sell unless your scared then you can take your profits early, the bull is still early and we have a very long way to go, but we can't well predict anything the bear can also start right away, you know the cryptocurrencies are very volatile and I'm speaking in general even tho I am well referring to bitcoin, and we can't predict what would happen next unless with the facts that has been reveled, the bull run has enough fuel to go further and that is fact, bitcoin is on a very high demand , and most altcoins depend on bitcoin for their own value, if this is right then you are selling too early.

There eare different reasons why we choose to invest in the crypto market and our reason might be different from others.
If we want to make money from the market, we don't need to consider other people's thought at all, we need to keep taking decisions that would support our reasons why we decided to invest in the crypto market. Some people are selling because they thought the price of Bitcoin would fall so that the little fall will not affect them and they could look for possible positions to buy again.

Maybe people are selling the coins to increase their value. If the value of the coins goes up it can go down again. After halving the price doubles and after doubling it goes down then wait again later. I like to invest long term but due to the high value of the coin it is possible to make small profit in short term. As I cannot hold any coins for now it will be possible to gain some profit in trading.

Maybe we have to be patient first because it hasn't reached the all time high price yet, it's only approaching the previous bull's high price, as they say, I also prefer to invest in altcoins that follow Bitcoin movements, such as ethereum and BNB. That's the simple reason I always put them at the top of my list of investment coins and I put the most money in both of them

the only thing that im keeping for later is always BTC and ETH the rest will definitely be liquidated if it has reached enough and has reached my target as well.
the thing with altcoin in general is because their pump is sometime kinda short lived i don't really feel comfortable holding them all if not for short term investment.
but with bitcoin and ethereum you definitely know that they are definitely good for long term holding therefore I will keep holding them until at least they reached all time high
just seeing from the previous bullrun chart, we are definitely hitting more than the all time high though therefore i dont really sure about making profit.
maybe im gonna be holding for a lot longer until at least it gives me the profit that Im expected, im really faithful with these coins for holding they are just that good.

There will always be buying and selling, that is what sustain the market. Those who have reached their target can sell because it is all about individual decision and choice. Apart from reaching targets, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency ought to be used for payments for goods and service and this involves buying and selling. It can then be seen that selling is not that bad and represent one way the system works.

We should also remember that there are different market participants. Some are long term investors while some are short term investors that sell within a short term when they meet their expectations. I am investing for the long term, so I am holding, besides, I thing now is selling too early because the major moves have not happened in my opinion.

Dear, it's too early for selling in my honest opinion. Especially this bull season is going to be very special for many reasons the main one if the approval of ETF and the involvement of big institutions so this is just the beginning so selling too early is not a reasonable thing. Halving is still on the way so there may be a chance where the market can make a good correction which means we will have a good buying opportunity in the coming future.

If you are still interested in selling you can book some profit here and wait to buy back if the market will allow you to do so. But the thing which I already have mentioned is this is too early selling. I have also booked some profit here and I am hoping to buy back in the coming future. Keep in mind that I am not giving any advice I am just sharing an idea so I would advise you to do your own research.

Like I will always say know what you're going for as an investor, know your target and with your plan you can determine when to sell but if you've not reached your target you should not sell or rather you should be sure about the altcoin first cause the bull just started, if you're referring to ethereum then this is not the right time to sell but we have some investors who hold ethereum for long till this time and I believe they have succeeded in making profit so selling should not be the problem.

I am holding a several altcoins, and you know now mostly altcoins are increasing because altcoins market impacted by highly pumping BTC price. Right now i don’t want to sell all of my coins, because i think still some altcoins are chances to go more pumping as like BNB,ETH,SOL but i think it's good time to sell meme coins.

Don't be too hasty in selling because I think the price increases in this industry have only just begun. And in my opinion, we still have the opportunity to accumulate with the altcoins that we have held so far, and have confidence that after the halving occurs the price will rise much higher following Bitcoin's movements.
I don't have many altcoins because since I entered this industry I only prioritize Bitcoin which I always treat in the long term, and apart from that Ethereum and a few other altcoins that I still hold and haven't sold. Because I'm sure all the coins I hold will be much higher in price after the halving occurs and follow Bitcoin's movements.

Bitcoin!!
Those who sell now will end up in regrets as we are about to enter even a much bullish trend. It's obvious that many coins are increasing alongside Bitcoin especially Ethereum which is also about to breaker a new ATH. So if anyone sell now, he'll miss out lots of profits. I can't give accurate predictions but selling now would be a dumb idea since we are not yet in a bearish trend and beside the halving is still after a month time so price correction would take place there and that is the best time to sell for those who are Interested in selling but I'll prefer to just hold through out both bullish and bearish trends for long term.

Almost all altcoins are increasing in price and all of them are giving good return but no one will want to sell their bitcoin currently as everyone knows that halving is near and during halving the price will be more than current value and if they sell currently then they will regret during halving.

Taking profit will depends on their buying price and almost everyone will be in benefit but this is not an accurate time for selling of your assets. Another important thing is that bitcoin is not an altcoin and keeping bitcoin for longer term will give you more better return than that of selling immediately after a single pump.

overall there aren't many altcoins that I hold for the long term. apart from Bitcoin, only Ethereum is what I hold for the long term. other than that I hold it for short periods. That doesn't mean that altcoins other than ETH are unable to grow along with Bitcoin. but considering the opportunities and risks, we must prioritize profits.
many altcoins have grown in a short time and become the attention of the community. but in a short time, they can fall very deep, even deeper than Bitcoin if a correction occurs.

Right now, I'm keeping up with what's happening in our market in the short term, and so far, the results of what I'm doing are good and somehow keeping up. But it's also dangerous when you notice it; leave it for sure.

Since we are in an uptrend right now, it is quite necessary to make quick decisions and quick analyses while reading the chart, while the volatility of crypto is aggressive on any exchange today.
But if you cannot go with the flow don't do it instead, hold your assets.

#SWGT PRE-SALE IS LIVE
In this bull season I have sold all my meme coins that I had bought from the end of 2023. I have sold PEPE, BONK and DOGE and I have made a profit of around 70%. I still hold some potential coins such as in the DeFi and AI sectors. I plan to buy some new coins from the sale of my meme coins. I think the altcoin bull season has a long way to go. Usually it will take about 3-5 months from now. I plan to buy Bitcoin when I no longer have interest in altcoins in the next few months.

I have been selling bitcoin now. Not all of it but in small batches. As always I'm regretting on not investing more as I could have afford and also regret for holding fiat based currency.
I have a good hold of Solana (jitoSOL-SOL pair), not planning to sell it now. I have some defi tokens that are in loss. I have a small amount of Toncoin, which I'm still going to hold. I don't have much of other coins. And this bull to would too be nearly worthless for me. I used to have SUI completely sold now. I might have some litecoin and bnb in several exchanges and wallets.

For me everyone has their own decision to sell anytime they want, though bitcoin has been on the rise as you said and it has also encouraged the price of other coins but the major thing is that we are still in the bullrun and it's expected that cryptocurrency in general will continue to appreciate until it reaches it ATH, at this point we are not expected to be premature sellers despite how encouraging withdrawal of asset is right now, one can decide to withdraw little and continue holding because we never can tell what next week price will look like, I believe that there is still unfolding events in the crypto market, so the best thing to do now is to keep holding to avoid missing the opportunity.

I can sell them now if I want to but I will not do it. I have more belief on the power of the cycle and there's more of it to come. While it is exciting that we've seen the market that have been up right now but it doesn't mean that I shouldn't be aware of what actually is happening and what is to come. I have been patient long time ago so, this is nothing and easier for me to wait when I am seeing that the market has been so much better over all the period of time that I have been waiting for.

Re: People are selling now, what are you keeping for later and which are you selling
Currently, I'm holding BTC, ETH, ATOM, TIA, SUI & DYM. I have a portfolio that's kind of weird especially since I'm the type of investor that's more conservative and focuses more on the top coins, but I tried to risk some of my money and invested into coins that are below the top 10 or at least top 20.

I will sell all of the tokens that I'm holding. I already have set selling targets for all of them. I already put it on a spreadsheet, and when the time comes that it reaches that target, no matter what happens I will sell it immediately. Of course, I will not sell all of them at once. I put 3 selling targets on all of them. I already made a mistake last 2021 when I had an opportunity to sell all of my assets but chose to just watch the market, and my portfolio went up. This time, I will not make the same mistake again, and will sell all of them then wait for the bear market, and will re-invest in it.

You know what OP, I might keep 0.001 BTC for the long-long term holding. Cheesy Reason? Nothing I just want to do it. Cheesy

The altcoins that I still hold are currently two, ETH and Solana. I'm sure both of them will give me a profit. Later, the altcoins I'm selling are AKT and Ondo because I don't want to be greedy. It's better if I take the profit first. Now if AKT and Ondo go down again and I I will buy it again when the price is cheap, that's what I'm doing now

Altcoins I will HODL
In the current Bitcoin (BTC) rally, the majority of altcoins will definitely follow the flow, to maintain value, I think it would be good to hold altcoins that are ranked in the top 20 in terms of MC, such as Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE) etc. Apart from the top altcoins I mentioned, I will also hold the recently arrived L-1 project altcoins such as Oasis Network (ROSE), Aptos (APT) or Sui (SUI), this is important considering that these altcoins are still in the development stage, so The potential for price increases is still large.

Altcoins I'll leave out
all altcoins that are just based on hype or community, I don't think I should explain this one, because I'm sure you already know it.

We expect such a thing to happen --FOMO. People are selling off their coins worrying that they will miss the opportunity. It has happened before and certainly, it will happen again and again. But guess what, they will soon regret when witnessing the price of their coins continue to increase. This is what happened to me before because of some negative influence and of the IFs.

If we just buy ETH and some potential coins and at least hold them until when the price of Bitcoin hits its new ATH that is worth enough.

I'm hodling ethereum and BNB to gain more profit,  I am not ready to sell now because these two altcoins I'm hodling I'm very sure it has good potential to yield more profit as the crypto market is increasing in price. Some people who started so early to hodl can decide to sell if they might have gotten good profit , but as for me I think more profit can still be gained in hodling and I will keep on hodling.

I’m selling nothing now, the price of most coins are going up right now but it’s still really early in the bull market. Only sell now if you really need the money. We are only early on in the bull market. Traditionally we hit the cycle top a year after the halving so plenty of time for upside yet. The year for you to start selling is 2025 if you’re aboe to HODL for a while longer.

I don't hold much altcoins but I've got a hefty amount of ETH in my wallet but I'm not planning on selling anything yet because I'm sure that when bitcoin continues to go up in price, there's a possibility that ETH will follow and it will grow even more than the current price and I don't want to be missing out on the potential of ETH going upwards of 6k or 7k at best, that's going to be a sad day for me if I didn't hodl now that ETH and I end up selling although with a profit, it's not maximized. I have seen some talks of selling now but I feel like there's still time for the price to go even further so if you feel like being influenced by others to take a profit now, always remember that there's a possibility that you might get more if you just waited it out a bit more.

I’m a shot time investor in altcoins and before the first week of this market pump I was lucky to buy some fraction of Eth below the range of $2500 which was a good price for me too and I didn’t hesitate to sell yesterday when I notice the price was dropping down a bit, which I ended up selling at $3200+ which gave me more profit than I expected.

I’m still currently holding my MATIC as I don’t see need to sell it for now, the market will definitely go above what it is right now, maybe $1.5 to $2 per one will be a good time for me to sell but until then I will still have to hold my MATIC token very strong.

Make no mistake, there is not coin that is worth to be held just like bitcoin, if you want to take the risk and potentially increase the profits you may get, buying altcoins could be a good move, but you need to be ready to sell them at a moment’s notice, if you are not ready to do this then maybe the altcoin market is not for you, since even if there are several projects which are more solid than your average shitcoin, at the same time they are not as solid as bitcoin.

Of course without the infection of bitcoin the AltCoins would stay stagnant and any of it that can't hold still enough then there are tendencies to its fallen.
I considers reputability in AltCoins and that's why I Invests on BNB, SOL and the ETH. if you look at the value increments of bitcoin, you would also see the increment effects on the above AltCoins. I love to invest on AltCoins that imitates the reputable King of Cryptocurrencies which is bitcoin.
I am a long term Investors to AltCoins and so doing, I don't consider investing on AltCoins with a projection of the future.
