Maybe it is due to the ease of usage. Could be people having these cards are unable to use it so they want btc badly

Hello folks. Think I can help you here.

It mostly depends on the cases, but Amazon sometimes made amazing discounts on there cards. Sometimes they even gave cards for free.

So if you buy 100 amazon cards at -50 rate then sell them back at 75% of their value you're making a huge profit Wink

i can confirm that for hardware - in my case e cigarettes - that you buy directly from manufacturer in china and sell in europe or the us.
...

That's because what you're doing is basically illegal Sad
In NY, for instance, most of the price of a pack of smokes is tax. Not that you'll get popped (your customers might, if they don't declare), but shitty example.

Huh why?
Im not dodging any taxes. It is just that e cig profit margin seems to be ridic Smiley

But ya maybe not a good example

This is indeed a great way to make a huge profit if you have a cash you can make a profit by just doing this I have never read this kind of method before ,it's very much legit and profitable, how many investors know this method..

Well it's not exactly a method because you can't make it systematic!

It's just from time to time (mostly during Christmas for example) Amazon decides to giveaway or to make a reduction on gift cards.

But you can't know when it'll happen neither can you expect to get 100 of cards because it's more or less limited Wink

It can't be carding.  They are paid for in Cash at a Target.  I get the receipts for each with the specific card number.  Shows a cash payment for each.  Not CC.

Than it is very likely that the cash itself was obtained through a dubious source, such as selling drugs or stolen goods. What better way than to get bitcoins for it through something as wanted as amazon gift cards? Especially at such rates people must be lining up to get them.

I'd be a bit hesitant though, but if the reviews of the sold cards are good and there are no problems, it is unlikely that you will get problems as a result.

I have seen people getting this gift cards as payment for the work they did. Even sometimes one who is not in need of such card gets this. He need to contact someone and exchange to get his payment. Sometime he gets payment higher than what he has got committed.

I've noticed that some people sell Amazon gift cards at Paxful and LBTC for crazy rates.  For instance 1 BTC can be traded for $600 in Amazon gift cards.  What's the catch   Why are they selling so cheap?  It appears that the work from feedback.
maybe because amaon giftcard hard o be traded to other goods,i mean just can used in amazon, and this is weakness for someone who want to trade or shop outside amazon.

Very interesting little hole in the system. Seems like more people pop up weekly trading amazon and this does make sense.

That is exactly what https://purse.io/ does....  Facilitate in the sell of giftcards for Bitcoins.

If you do some research, you will see there are a lot of foreign workers who earn amazon credits but cannot have items shipped to their country.  So they "trade" amazon credit for bitcoins at a usually discounted rate.

it's of course not legit, most of these unbelievable good rate cards are carded "bought with stolen creditcards" or obtained from suspicious sources. Some legit ones are sold at prices like these but very rarely.

These gift cards are bought with cash as well.  I saw the receipts.  Some someone is buying them in cash and then selling them for 60% of their value.  At first I thought credit card fraud, but its CASH!

Nah, it's carding. Buy only if you're willing to buy stolen goods.

Good question. Have been pondering this myself and kind of figure the Starbucks giftcards being sold are from employees, might be wrong.
Be interesting to see, recall one guy that was buying credit cards at a insane clip and all he said is he worked at a gas station. So some kind of scam was being laid out there for sure.
When I worked at Blockbuster back in the day they had a 2 for 1 scan code. I hit that 10 times a shift on customers that I knew would return on time and pocket $50 a shift. The whole store was doing it and I imagine that is why the chain went under. Cool
