I agree with you regarding sa risky investment only if ang mindset mo is truly ROI and not the fun part.
Kaya ako as a gamer, I do not mind dahil I loved the game and having the mindset like what I have noon na hardcore gamer sa non-NFT games hehe.
Just imagine if yung mga nilalaro natin na non-nft games eh nag convert as an NFT game! I'm pretty sure na sobrang solid nun!
Yes kaya ang “play to earn” term is already wrong in the first place dahil hindi yan sustainable. Even Axie Infinity hindi exempted dyan because of this term alone. Mali kasi ang mindset na ginawa ni Axie Infinity saten na instead for fun and entertainment, ginawa nila itong ecosystem as something na magbabago buhay naten. Kaya ang play to earn is misleading to be honest.
It clearly destroys the true purpose of building games like this which the hype has started with Axie and created a domino effect on the crypto gaming industry.
Play & earn is way more different than play to earn. Ito dapat ang term na at least gagamitin ng mga NFT games, in which the mindset of gamers would not treat this as an investment.
Kaya slowly we have to change the narrative. Dapat it’s time for these games to be what they really made of and that is fun and entertainment (with the option to earn crypto and sell NFTs freely in the open market).
Mas mabuti ito kaysa World of Warcraft or any similar game na pinagbawalan ka mag benta account, item, etc., that would get your account at risk of getting banned.
Hesitant na ako maginvest sa mga P2E games and I don’t know if it’s really worth it or not?
Haven’t heard this game before, may promotions ba sila dito sa forum? Ilang months or years kaya ang ROI nito para sa mga nakapagtry na?
You are hesitant because ang mindset mo is to earn and not for fun and entertainment.
From time to time nung pag start hype ni Axie parang okay pa yun temporarily until na dumami na ang influx of players (especially sa Philippines), the devs are forced to adjust the reward pool from time to time until nawala na tuloy ang earning side sa adventure mode.
I say it’s worth it pag ang mindset is gamer and not as an investor mindset looking for ROI. Just my opinion lang boss.
