Hm, I usually don't use adblock on sites I visit daily and like... isn't there a way to block signatures? Like an additional ignore function

You can turn them off and on in the profile, but that's all or none. This is per user.

FWIW the class only appears in the default forum theme, not in the SMF one (which I use).

Great idea. I would make the filter, but I do not know how. I will look into it. Great work! Are signature IDs the same as user IDs?

On topic pages, every signature now has a class like "sig35" (in my case) containing the user's ID. This should make it easy to block a particular user's signature. For example, to block the signature of pedrog (user ID 112476) using Adblock Plus, add this filter:
bitcointalk.org##.sig112476

Someone could create an ABP filter subscription to block annoying signatures.
