Thank you all for the tips.  Wink

I still have a relevant amount of Bitcoin value in my portfolio, but I think we can no more consider Ethereum a small or shit coins and for me, it's wise to have also a certain amount of this Coin. In the end, it's the platform where most (more than 90%) tokens are built in, it's continuously developing and I'm expecting a significant increase in value for Ethereum in the near future (also for Bitcoin by the way...).

Right now, somewhere between 75% and 80% of my portfolio is made up of Bitcoin and another 8% is made up of Bitcoin Cash (which I got during the fork event). The remaining 15% is made up of various altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin, and Byteball.

It will be better if you can add 40%-50% of bitcoins to your portfolio and make your investment in long term.Or if you are looking for short term investment then add 20% bitcoin then add the shitcoins which has the ability to give huge profits in very short time but investing on altcoins has higher risks than bitcoin because many altcoins won't recover after the price fall.

I've read it somewhere that it is safe to say 10-20% of your portfolio per coin.

I have 1 bitcoin and also in some altcoin for my investment right, because investment in altcoins is very profitable because the price can be increased faster to many times fold.

Hi guys, give me your thought about how much of your current crypto portfolio is invested in bitcoin and how much in altcoins?

100% in bitcoin. and whenever i buy an altcoin it is only for a short term before i dump it to get profit on the bitcoin i invested in them.

What do you guys think about having bitcoin vs altcoins?

bitcoin has real usage and adoption, altcoins don't. and until they start being more serious about real adoption instead of focusing on pump and dumps they won't become good long term investments.
until that day i will consider altcoins only for short term pumps.

In my opinion:
bitcoin and ethereum: low risk, low reward
other coins: high risk, high reward

If you like taking those big risks, then sure, Go for alts. Though I think everyone should still leave a good percentage of their cryptocurrency investments on BTC and ETH, as they're safer in terms of price in my opinion, though everything is still very volatile.

Hi guys, give me your thought about how much of your current crypto portfolio is invested in bitcoin and how much in altcoins?

I mean, we all see that so many different projects are starting every day and there are a lot of altcoins that now have a significant market share (first of all Ethereum).

What do you guys think about having bitcoin vs altcoins?
Personally, I'm quite heavily invested in altcoins, Ethereum and Neo first of all, but also some smaller ones and the part of my portfolio related to Bitcoin has become much smaller (but anyway is still consistent): what do you think?
