The only one coin who is perfect for me is just Bitcoin, there are no other alternatives because bitcoin has everything of what we have been looking for, and maybe for more than years.
Maybe ethereum could be a good replacement for bitcoin, but it will take years to be better than bitcoin because you all know that ethereum is not even 1/2 of what btc is.
Monero is a good second option too, but it will never be better too, and it is not even 1/70 of the actual price.

In my eyes the PERFECT DIGITAL CURRENCY would be:

1. Strictly limited,

2. Backed by real value, and

3. Connected to a real economy.

What's your definition of a perfect cryptocurrency?

I don't quite understand your question/statement. What you are describing is fiat, it's backed by something and is centralized.
There is no perfect currency.

I agree with you, but I think we should not forget about such important things as decentralization. In my opinion without it the perfect digital currency impossible.

Good point. Though by definition all cryptocurrencies are decentralized, aren't they?

I guess my title is not entirely correct. I implied that a "digital currency" is a crypto, yet some fiat currencies are also partly digital.
