Yes, you're absolutely right, by the way I have kept 1btc since 6 months. I bought it at 22k, and bitcoin's rate currently is 29k. I'm waiting for halving. Afterwards, I'll convert my bitcoin into cash.

I think we will end 2016 with BTC trading somewhere in the $800 to $1000 range

When someone give these kind of figures ($4400 in 2017), he also should give a proper reasoning or analysis to affirm it. I don't believe in this kind of soothsayers and prefer to be more conservative in this values. $2000 seems more credible, for instance.
Can expect it to cross $600-700 .. but $4400 way to ahead

If you look at past trends, you cannot push off any prediction like this to be unreasonable. He is talking about 10x increase in 2 years and is of course a possibility.

Now since most expect it to go up who knows it may go the other way. I still have the ones I have accumulated though; haven't cashed in yet.

Indeed it is the perfect time to invest in bitcoins, in fact the most perfect period was start of February month. Now price of bitcoin will not go below 28,000 INR. So people who purchased bitcoins in February are already in golden club.

this year is phenomenal for bitcoin, block halving, satoshi nakamoto issue (end of last year), XT vs Core debate, in my opinion 2016 will be the year of bitcoin

I am holding my coins but i am also trading them and my cost of purchase is also going down and my bitcoins are also growing as what ever profit comes through trading that i convert it in bitcoins and like this both price and stock going equally. my target price is $600+ that time i will sell everything and convert it to fiat currency.

seems like it is very good to invest because of the halving.
but also because of the high price ($400+) worth of btc each now.
i doubt that there will be a lot of bitcoin users will invest even,it halving will come soon.
but if i have a lot of money. i will definitely invest some.even it was risky.

The problem is that the price has doubled in the last 3 months.
So we can't be sure that the block reward halving will have that much of an impact.

I tend to agree. As it is a known fact the price increase would gradually happen than just doubling on the eve of reward halving day. This fact might have played some role in recent price increase already.
