SNL hasn't been funny since Eddie Murphy left.  This is the first time I've even heard of Pete Davidson.  Just another nobody trying to make a name for himself...  As they say in Hollyweird; no publicity is bad publicity.

No publicity? You must be out of touch. The guy had a brief affair with Ariana Grande. I'm sure Clinton would have loved to have a Freaky Friday moment with Pete.  Cheesy

During my daily youtube crusade I stumbled upon a video of Pete Davidson apologizing for his comments about Dan Crenshaw, a veteran and current U.S. Representative-elect for Texas's 2nd congressional district. Pete made a joke about Crenshaw's appearance (he wears an eye patch, after he lost his eye to an IED in combat) naming him a ''hitman in a porno movie''. The backlash of this seemingly innocent joke was substantial, and what followed was an apology.

If you haven't seen it, watch it here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKaakjMVtyE&t=1s

The apology felt very forced to me, it seems like Pete was pressured by the network to apologize.

Please let me know what you think about this.
