But this petition will be worthless. They just need more education before try to join or invest in something like scam ico or coin.
The only party that can give you transparency is the team that has a direct relationship with the project itself. That's the main point on this case about how we can encourage trusted developer.

I think that the market is already creating solutions that will help investors avoid getting scammed. Liquid, GBX and some other exchanges are now starting to sponsor ICO's so you know that someone with expertise has examined the project and judged it sufficient to list on their exchange. Another group called Crypto-Potential is building an ICO report platform that aligns the researchers interests with those of investors. You should always remember if you are getting something for free (like the "ICO Rating" sites) then you are the product.

There were 1 billion scam projects only in 2017! I don't know how did you tabulate it but 1 billion scam projects are so impossible for me.
Tested blockchain specialists who write reports how sure are we that these people will always be truthful in the future and that they will refrain from accepting money for their positive reviews?

Wrong and Right are part of life, not only in cryptocurrency. even in our life we could see this kind of activity because people only cares about their own benefit instead of other.

One step would be to not take recommendations from ico rating sites, and do your own research before venturing into any investment.

Ico investment is at a very low at the moment with investments dropping. And reported scam cases rising.

I really appreciate the actions you take, but are you sure about doing this, the fraud will just end, I don't think so, we are all responsible for the operation of the crypto world we choose, will still be naive or learn more so that it reduces the risk of becoming a victim

This is a big problem in the industry but I don't think we signing petition will changed anything. I think what will be the best option now is regulation though I don't really like it because it will defeat the concept of decentralization. My conclusion is that much is required from an investor to do thorough personal research about a project and be fully convinced before investing his hard earned money into it. So far most of all these ratings platform has failed us, one need to have personal conviction about the authenticity of a project and not rush to buy what the project is assumed to be by others.

Petition is the formal document that is signed by many people requesting a official for a change. We all know that crypto is a very huge and vast currency and now the situation is that there are millions of people around the world who are investing into crypto currencies but the thing is that there is no transparency in this , take the example of bounty campaign as what they decide the amount to be paid we accept it and starts working for them without knowing the actual mechanism so there should be a transparency between the investors and the authority
