Lulz.  She just guaranteed that the whole world knows Newsweek is relaunching and she got her competitors to publicise that fact.  I don't think they're going to be firing her any time soon.  Newsweek couldn't have bought the kind of publicity today's soap opera has given the relaunch.

What happened today makes me sick and I do think she should be fired.  Disgusting journalism.

She was already banned from entering the UK for 2 years, (most likely due to her poor ethics as a journalist), getting her fired would surely be a good thing, but she is freelance isn't she?

As long as sleazy papers will publish anything to make a buck, people like her will always thrive.  Angry

Well, there's 300 votes right there ....

What good are petitions though?

Does newsweek go "OMG, they did an online petition, and 2,000 people want you fired, you're fired!"

No.

It will be one more thing to consider. I think she will be fired anyway, the magazine has just lost any reputation may had.

Gotta have some to lose some first.
