I would guess that this phishing attempt will be quite successful, since the targeting is quite good. Also the wording seems quite professional. Ok, opening an executable sent by e-mail is careless, but sometimes the want to know easily overrides reason.

Question is from what sources these scammers got the e-mail addresses.

Btw.: What's the real status of the Mt.Gox aftermath? Have any payments been made to the claimants? The last news I can remember was Karpales supposedly "finding" some of the lost coins under his sofa...

Apologies if it took us a while to get back to you.

The creditors whose filed claim was rejected may take the claim assessment process within one month from the date of investigation of claims pursuant to the Japanese Bankruptcy Law.

All claims assessed, can be checked online, also list of all claims posted. Next milestone: 7th creditors meeting September 28, 2016.
