@examplens and dkbiti98 how did you manage to come across this phishing website? Did you just stumble upon this while surfing the web? I know that scam giveaways uses the same IP addresses that's why you can spot them easily so is it the same method? Because I barely come across on websites like this even if I surf regularly in the web.

I can speak in my name.
I saw them posted a lot on Discord and Telegram mostly.
Or scammers send you PM with some fake giveaway.

The same situation is for me. Discord, Telegram, Twitter and Facebook ... Scammers use social media for promoting trash like freixtrade
I am also a moderator on a few Facebook groups and posts waiting for my approval. There I find a lot of phishing and doubler sites.
I think all of these websites need to be related to the word "scam", "fraud" etc... Sometime, someone may want to buy a domain to start a regular business, this is how at least he can find out that he was once used for fraud. There is my list of Ponzi websites https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-alert-list-880-scam-websites-updated-12jully-23-5201588 it is advisable to stay away from them.

Thank you for the heads-up, guys!

Let us kindly clarify that 'https://freixtrade.com/' is indeed a scam site that uses CEX.IO lookalike interface and we are in no way related to it.

We have already reported this site to our Legal Department for them to take further actions upon it.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

I am glad to see that you have reported this site similar to CEX.IO whatever happens the scamer must be followed up this will lose a lot if you leave it like this, and this has indeed been your decision to report it we are only happy to see the scamer caught with fraud charges.

Yes, the cex website template is very popular.
I also get an offer, probably is an attempt to get my username/password for future scam

Code:
Hey, need your help, i hope you can help with that.
I have 1.22 BTC on freixtrade.com and can't withdraw it to my coinbase coz of limit, can i send it to you(on freixtrade i still can transfer to other users), so you will withdraw it and send to me 1.12 and .1 yours.

Exactly what happened to me, they sent a message to the telegram and then offered to help with the lure of the problem of making a withdrawal, hmm this is an old trick and only a fool is exposed to fraud.

Perhaps many already know about tricks like this and most Telegram channels.

You know the saying, "There’s a sucker born every minute". Add on that that crypto market is still new and there is constant influx of new people that have no idea how all this works, and you get what we have new- bunch of old scams still going on, and people falling for  them.
After all, if it wasn't working, they wouldn't keep doing them..

Nope, it's the usual scam, you go open an account on freixtarde, you will get the 1.22 BTC but in order to withdraw you will have to first deposit 0.01 or something.
In some cases, greed will take over and people will attempt to run with all the BTC but instead of scamming they will get scammed.

I guess it's still quite lucrative since the scam has been going for a year, Report Scams and Frauds Exchangers by Edgar and they still afford to bulk buy domains like that and have multiple VPS hosting them.

In fact, I often see the same tamplate site with a different domain name, maybe the scamer doesn't think too long and doesn't know what's going on. LOL
Never mind if there are similar sites like CEX.IO better leave.
