It is allowed because we have a license for it.

Well you can say that Pi wallet is only rasp + armory.
But the fact is that is more than only this.
It has 2 cards to store data and other features...

Maybe op should write here differences please.

Read the quote, they're (you're?) selling a .img of a SD card with simply an 'optimized' version of Armory.

I dont even have one Pi yet

but isn't how it always works? Someone can put something into a box and configure it.
They don't need to create their own cpu's and stuff.
They use ready products, put them together for you and sell it.

And what is more funny I guess they did sold quite a lot of them

However, Pi Wallet is ready to be shipped while Trezor has just recently pushed back the release date again. We will only take your money when we have something ready to deliver. This is neither a preorder, nor has it ever been in a preorder stage.

We think that the current course of of bitcoin hardware developers regarding preorders is wrong and unfair treatment of the client when release dates cannot be met, especially when also denying refunds.
