My choices for 2021 are:

Apart from that, I cannot confirm it as my choice in 2021, because according to what I see at the moment it's the best

The top choice for altcoin for 2021 I will think ETH, BNB, LINK, DOT which are the names that i think will skyrocket in the future. Also, i am looking at new projects in 2020 and i expect 2021 they will bring great success as DIA. And the present moment is still a good buying opportunity at low prices, these are the proposals that i am interested in.

I don't think that Because there is still a Purchasing movement XRP has means people are still investing on this.

It can be the Team itself whos buying and selling the Coins just for daily movement and for the market not to lose hope for the coin.

But inside the system is their Maintaining Amount is what circulates them now and no New investors are entering the problematic coin like XRP.

My friend,,, if I dare to open my Telegram again after 2 years staying away I guarantee I will find 100s of groups just talking good news about their coin. Paid armies and/or bots. Do not buy something because people are saying good things about it. Buy something you love, you can use, and you can support;)

I honestly find it incredible people are still picking XRP after all the recent developments that show and prove what we have always known about the coin all along. It is centralized. It is highly vulnerable to regulation changes. And most importantly, highly vulnerable to pump and dumps. Not that I do not expect it to recover at some point,,, but 2021 seems premature.

ethereum is currently making it first and that's not on your list. however, it is a lesson for us that when the price of bitcoin goes up, the price of the popular altcoin is just a matter of time to pump. So far, ethereum is still up first. So, there's a chance that other popular altcoins will be pumping soon.

But we have the best pick this year which is bitcoin
By picking bitcoin, I am sure that we will make a big profit while waiting for a while to invest in an altcoin. Maybe this time, we need to focus on bitcoin because the price still trying to increase. I guess that bitcoin price will have the possibility to hit $40k this month because we already touch $34k, and no matter if the price now is at $32,xxx-$33,xxx, the price will increase more.

agree to what @michelle said , xrp is in danger position now together with xmr because exchanges are dumping them and people are dumping them aswell because they are scared to what can happen

but theres no bad news on tron so far and tron is a better contender than xrp even if we disregard the xrp issue that happened lately and last but not the least is bitcoin , btc will never be gone on the picks all the time . i dont need to explain why  . @henyo26 if you believe that btc will do more on august then  you better bag more btc than ever .

1. Polkadot : there will be many project on polkadot in this year especialy DeFi Project.
Still on ICO :
1. SYL from XSL Labs : profesional team and its uses case maybe will be the best data security coin out there.
2. MYID : the Founder is realy transparant and i like thisbkind of project.

My top 5 picks are:

DOT - New project with huge potential, but even more, coins which are related to DOT may be able to make nice growth.
PHA - Related to DOT. As everything will be fine, it should give a DOT and KSM great functionality, mainly about privacy.
RSR - As a nice project for countries with high inflation. I saw lots of documentaries and vlogs about Venezuela, and something like RSR would be healing for those people.

LTO Network - I strong believe in this company. They have good idea, and they are developing their portfolio all the time. As for now they are working with Dutch&Belgian Governments. Lots of use cases on their website. Moreover, as you buy LTO you can lease them for pools/companies and you are able to take profits from that.

ETH - BTC is breaking ATH all the time, and there is me still waiting for ETH ATH. Moreover ETH 2.0 went live on December. Remember that the biggest news are able for us to see them in price in long term.

I also support the same choice as you, and it is a pity that such cryptocurrencies as Tron and Stellar show negative dynamics during this period, when the most rated cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ethereum are very actively moving up. Plus, speaking of Ripple, I removed this coin from my portfolio a long time ago.

I also thing that old altcoins will perform much better than the new ones in this  altcoin season.

Tron is fine to be the selection of the coin, but XRP? Hmm, I am not sure because after what happened to the XRP, XRP had a hard time lifting the price or gaining more investors to invest in the project. But if the developer can solve the problem, XRP will have a chance to grow and lift the price. Until that time, maybe you can select the other coins besides XRP. But choosing bitcoin will be more than enough because bitcoin now breaks $32k (finally).

Ltc : my next target for this alt is above $1000
Polkadot : my next target for this new tech alt is arround $150
Still research about XSL labs for new project.

2021 is very much looking forward to being a great altcoin year. There are many lists that I made but I will say just a few like ETH, LTC, BNB and Polkadot.
Altcoin have great potential for this year, because bitcoin turn seems to be enough, then it's time for altcoins to rise.

The best pick for 2021 is the Ripple and the BNT. From this point, the BNT must grow towards $30 or even more. Again the XRP also goes again upward after the Bitcoin growth confirmation. So, the best pick is BNT and XRP.

this year 2021 is a special year for the crypto community in the world,
why? because many say that 2021 is the golden year, and that is true, the Bitcoin price reaches above $ 30k and Fomo is still ongoing,
but what is the concern now is Altcoin, altcoin prices are still very undervalued, especially Ethereum which is still hotly discussed,
2021 My suggestion is to pick Ethereum, because the huge pump will wait you.

The quality of Ethereum and BNB is not in a doubt, both of these coins have a good track record, and Eth and Bnb have a very large trading volume in the market. Yeah,  a currently defi is dominating, but you must be wise when choosing coins to invest, do not let you lose half your money because you make the wrong choice when investing.

i fell in love with ethereum and bnb I think these two altcoins are good enough for the future, especially BNB, and of course need to hold some defi coins but I haven't determined what defi coin to hold,maybe you can give consideration to me.

Anyone saying monero isn't anonymous is using poor OPSEC. Only reason it will go to 3k is the utilities which will be built on it. (Even if the supply is uncapped , The supply will remain smaller than BTC for the upcoming years with the emission rate @ 0.3XMR when it hits 18.4M.) You also mean to tell me that the rich and powerful who may be escaping laws regarding money laundering / "Tax avoidance" / Tax evasion and perhaps some of you Bitcoiners who perhaps cash out into fiat by alternative means to hide your actual amount of BTC available to the masses? Just consider for a second and see that 3k is not out of the realm of possibility only assuming that 55.2B in market cap. Seems small compared to the vast wealth scattered across different subsidiaries and shelf corps. Imagine if Monsack Fonseca event again and these powerful people being exposed again. Dash and Zcash are dogshit. If you believe in BTC then XMR is truly what you'd want in your portfolio.

Monero won't just be a privacy coin. It'll be privacy coin that will rival ethereum and cause another influx of capital to enter the space. Monero is digital cash. Doesn't matter if they delist it. It can still be used on decentralized exchanges. Centralization is simply another alternative to the ones in this space.

Who says that Monero isn't completely anonymous anymore?! Only because of the Ciphertrace patents?

Although there are many good coins which can do very well in the next altcoin bull market but i think the DEFI coins will out perform other coins because of their hype and trend. You should have some quantity of good defi coins in your portfolio.

I don't think its workable for it to hit $3000 ever. Sure its a security coin yet there will be guideline against protection coins and it will keep a few trades from utilizing it. I wouldn't go into others likewise, however let your motivation of putting resources into them be about what they offer and not the cost with the goal that you won't be frustrated .

Pretty ironic that a few hours after I made this post, Bittrex has decided to delist privacy coins. Basically I think there is going to be more regulation in the near future and coins like XMR posses a problem especially when deaing with KYC. What is surprising is that ZEC is still listed at Gemini, however Bittrex has decided to delist it.

The big question is why they are doing it all of a sudden. A few days after SEC sues ripple. I think they were maybe contacted and warned to delist these coins. We will find out in the next few days what happens. If more US based exchanges decide to delist privacy coins then we know that its due to regulations and this is the reason why I don't see it going to $3000 with all these issues.

I think that is because people in the last year prefer to choose the new projects which can grow, and they see it happens to some altcoin. That is why we saw that some new altcoins can survive in the long bear trend, but that coins still need to compete with the old coins that still have the power to rise. We will see many old and new coins trying to compete with each other, so maybe there will be many coins increase in the near.

Ethereum should have been on my list. It's going to 5k USD+

I'm also diversified as i have a healthy risk tolerance. This coins are my conservative picks.

I don't like BNB because CZ can still exit scam or "randomly die"

Better splitting the portfolio for low marketcap altcoins, the higher marketcap altcoins will not be able to reach a higher ROI than 30x. Maybe Polkadot will has a chance to hit the ATH but it is pointless to wait for a long time in order to take the same ROI which can happen on another project. Maybe in the near future, the total value of the crypto marketcap will surpass the trillion and all crypto investors will be finally a holder of something valuable. In order to reach this level, picking the right altcoins and buying the altcoins worth investment is crucial.

personally i will picks ethereum and binance coin as my first choise in altcoins investments buddy

If your plan to invest in Ethereum is to stake for the POS reward I will say you're late for that now but if you have some ETH stored for a long time on an exchange that supports ETH2.0 staking then you can still take part in the POS reward.

Honestly, this type of coin is not considered as a future promising coin and long-term investment in these coins is risky.

My own pick for this year is BTC, ETH, XMR YFI, LINK and BNB.

That's just a safe assumption so that I'll not expect a lot from it. If it goes higher than $1000, that's a better deal and surpassed the expectation that I've set.
There really is the possibility that it will go more than that with all of the hypes that we have and with the 2.0 that's been welcomed much by the community.

I cannot imagine Monero (XMR) to reach $3000 as it's not considered a truly anonymous coin anymore.

The Graph (GRT) has the potential to reach $5 even quicker.

I think ethereum will go higher than $1000 this year. after all those hypes. adoption and the 2.0 upgrade. I expect much more from ethereum.

My Main Pick would be Bitcoin.
2nd I wanna aim for Ethereum because I really want to stake ethereum in it's 2.0 POS system and earn regular profit from that.

I am seeing Theta token going very up. so that could be a good opportunity as well for 2021.

I'll only pick Ethereum for altcoins. The prediction that I have is just $1000 for this year so that my expectation wouldn't be a lot. With that prediction for Monero, it has to multiply 7 times.
Doesn't look like that much and it is possible for this year. But to me, I'd only look for Ethereum and if I see that its price goes $1000, I'll start to diversify into some other altcoins.

I am very bullish on insurance projects this year because I have a feeling we will see more hacks this year than last year, as more and more DEFI products come on, we will see people demand for insurance for their protection. Another bucket I am looking into is the derivative trading platforms, they are going to take a cut from the CEX and if they can take 10% of the trading volume that would be huge

The altcoin market is full of mysteries, sometimes the unexpected always happens, so that makes some people change their plans when they see altcoin volume change suddenly.
There are so many altcoins that have a great potential in 2021, but everyone has a different choice. Here I really agree with you, Ethereum being a great choice, and deserves to be at the top of the investment list.

The option for 2021 in which everyone has listed altcoins to target has huge potential. but I personally can't determine with certainty. that the market is very difficult to predict. other than that I am still focused on Ethereum, considering its authenticity can not be doubted.
I understand that 2021 is the year of altcoins. so there is nothing wrong if everyone has their own options. this is just a plan. because when we enter the market, we are always surprised by the unexpected volume of other altcoins.

BNB can always be exit scammed. All it takes is someone to take down CZ and BAM all of your money is screwed.

I'm bullish on $XMR for one reason. Tari.com it's like ETH / XMR banged to make Tari. AND ITS GOING TO BE OPEN SOURCE / DECENTRALIZED / WITH NO PREMINE UGHGGHJFKASHGDAGHSDKHGASJH sorry i got a little excited there.

Link is going to have a problem with the SEC because they are listed on Gemini / Coinbase. These 2 companies are listed in the US. But LINK is based in the Caymen Islands. If they weren't listed on CB / Gemini , they would be free from the SEC. But of course if you are WORTH BILLIONS in market cap , YOU CAN ALWAYS PAY OFF THE SEC

Also because i have suspicions that link is intentionally hacking other protocols (oracle solutions) Example Compound by messing with their oracles , and IF that is the case , then I'd go all in on Link because their founder is playing the game of monopoly and thats what i want in my CEO. (As an investor anyways)

I think the MAIN Reason is Tari which is the ethereum competitor on the monero blockchain. Obviously i'm bias because i love XMR but it is what Satoshi would have wanted. Just wait til we have ICOs on XMR. It'll be the game changer. Also i have dreams of premonitions that i saw $LINK At 1k USD. Not sure of the time exactly but it went to 1k. I also saw this in my dreams when i saw monero go to 390 USD in 2017. (Had this dream in 2015)

My target for 2021 on altcoin

Dot / Polkadot : $200 at Q4 2021 ( it is the best assumption base on the project build on it )
Ltc : $4k ( it could happen if BTC price reach $100k or above it )
Idex multiverse token : if the trade volume increase it will goes up too and the migration to Binance smart chain and polkadot will make it faster and cheaper to trade there.
SYL : from XSL Labs ( we need this because we never avoid KYC in any project and we need safest KYC )

I agree that there will be a lot of altcoins that are growing reasonably well and could enter into long-term investments, but I still believe that the current top-ranking altcoins have a better chance of increasing sharply compared to newer altcoins.
because last year the top-ranking altcoins had not made any significant moves to follow in the footsteps of bicoin.

perhaps this year is the time for the top-ranking altcoins to make the move to deliver their latest ATH that many current altcoin holders have been waiting for.
bitcoin will certainly continue to allow top-ranked altcoins to move freely during this year by helping to provide a boost with their increase.

I believe 2021 will be a successful year for the whole crypto market, and personally i think BNB is really one of the coins that i have long-term ownership and waiting for the price to rise. I think it can completely go up to $ 100 by Q3 2021, let's wait and see if the magic happens.

There are too many altcoins which have a chance to bullish. We already have ethereum in the number 2 positions and a new comer polkadot, link, okb, and cel that can compete with the old altcoins with good position. And I think there are many more altcoins which can increase and lift the position at the market. But we need to follow the crypto journey on the market to find out which altcoins can get better position later.

I think some of these predictions are unrealistic such as that of XMR, that is, from current price of $158 to $3000, that is way too much remember that although it is a very good privacy coin, there are still other privacy coins which will share that attention with it, not only that, altcoins like Ethereum are still there to take much of the attention. I wouldn't go into others also, but let your purpose of investing in them be about what they offer and not the price so that you won't be disappointed at the end; to be frank predictions has been found not to go as predicted. However, my own picks for 2021 starts with Bitcoin of course, followed by Ethereum and ends with ADA, maybe for now or maybe later I would add another.

Everyone has expectations of altcoins in 2021. Everyone's ideas are valuable and we can see them as investment advice. NEO disappointed me in 2020, so my biggest expectation in 2021 will be NEO 

XMR? You sure this is not a typo? Its currently at like $150 and its peak was maybe $450. I don't think its possible for it to hit $3000 ever. Sure its a privacy coin but there is going to be regulation against privacy coins and it will prevent some exchanges from using it. Look what the US regulators are trying to do now with self-hosted wallet. So this is why I don't think $3000 is possible for XMR.

LINK might of peaked at like $20 or so however there is huge supply of LINK. If you expect it to go to $100 it means that its market cap will need to be $40 BILLION. That is going to be very difficult. To put in perspective its basically more than Tether and half of Ethereum.

I have expected these coins to reach at heart 2x ROI from the current price until the end of this year. I will not put big hope for that considering I'm already in big profit since I have started to buy them at Q1 2020 but for some coins in the list I have bought that before the pump of bitcoin.
