A trophy with a physical Bitcoin on top of it would be a good display and an investment as well.  Grin This is one example of how marketing is going to wide adoption. Whoever wins, congrats!

It's not just Wazirx but there's also CoinDCX operating in India, that's good development of adoption despite the government trying to ban BTC.

Actually prefer using the BTC logo instead of using CoinDCX, it kind of looks little though in my opinion, I think they can make it a little bit bigger. Honestly, CoinDCX is India's largest and boasts about being the safest cryptocurrency exchange, I have Indian crypto friends who actually use and their review about it is positive, low withdrawal fees, great security, and they are now also available on iOS. (Not promoting CDCX in anyway though).
At least there is a trusted exchange there and they are being active in promoting cryptocurrency use. It's fun to have that kind of thing being well-known and with their great reviews, they wouldn't have any major problem along the way unless they get hacked or something. Thanks for sharing your experience. I would ask some of my Indian friends if they have used it.

Private exchange are doing a great job promoting bitcoin. Exchanges and their offers has been a great way to introduce new people to crypto.
There were exchanges and tokens promoting football league teams and now a whole tournament and a trophy with the name of an exchange and the bitcoin symbol. Every viral advertisement is good advertisement but it's sad to see how sold out the trophies and sports are nowadays. They'd put anything on the trophy if they got  enough money.

As to its nature of design in the trophy, it's not directly correlating towards CoinDCX, and I'm happy to see BTC as part of the trophy. Many people might be wondering why it has something like that, and more and more people might get into the cryptocurrency space, which is a good thing, IMO. I hope a lot of companies would do the same and sponsor tournaments etc.

I haven't tried CoinDCX before. Anyone here that has used this?

Although there are several international events sponsored by the Cryptocurrency Exchange, getting sponsorship from any cryptocurrency exchange with a logo of BTC BTC at the top of any tournament trophy was something new for India. Hope this kind of thing brings some positivity to the Indian crypto market.

Am not sure but I think is because of the sponsor coinDCX which is a major sponsor on the IND vs Sl championship, I think it's a big attraction and while have attention of fans and views to be curious about the logo on the trophy with the logo almost always attributed to bitcoin, and coinDCX being an exchange for crypto-currency. Who are big and has a base in India, I may be wrong and they might have another significance for the Logo on the trophy, but I think it's almost has to be about crypto-currency.

Yes, this is an obvious promotion by coinCCX and it's good to see BTC appearing and for sure, out of curiosity of fans from both teams, it might bring some into the bitocin market. So it's a win-win, although we all know that the government of India is somewhat in the grey area and almost anti-bitcoin as of this time, so let's see how it goes.

Call your grandparents and tell them you love them
I noticed this only after you pointed this out! Yes, this logo has come mainly because CoinDCX is sponsoring the tournament. This move is likely to put the usage of bitcoin and increase the familiarity with Bitcoin with normal users!
I believe you dont have any idea of how the government in India is currently against cryptocurrencies.

I appreciate the fact that many startups have started developing and running exchanges and promoting them through media channels to get the youth of India to get into crypto. This includes youtube content channels like TVF and such Cricket match prizes as shown above.

However the banking system still considers bitcoin to be a grey area. Lets hope this increases gradually and with the pandemic and the effect of that pandemic in India, this regulation of crypto has pushed aside, but it will come back with time.

The government likes startups and is no mood to squash them. Also we have some advocacy groups trying to increase bitcoin adoption in India. It is slow but I am hopeful of it.

Yes CoinDCX is sponsoring the T20 International tournament between Sri Lanka and India and before that in the ODI series they were sponsoring the Sri Lankan team and they are an Indian cryptocurrency exchange and they shut down when there was a circulation by the RBI and when that case was squashed by the Supreme court most of the exchanges that shut their doors opened up and now it looks like CoinDCX are back with a bang.
This is one of the ways the lost sheep can be found without being desperate. I believe they in for business now since the door is open to show case their recent precent as a cryptocurrency exchange. Since the only quick way to notify the public about there existence in the market is by sponsoring games and sports to rapidly inform people and investors to join their platform without benefit of doubt. I think this exchange be is only found in India because if their operation and targeted audience.
