Exactly my point, it's up to the user.. why have business going elsewhere, when we can live here lol..
1) It needs lot of work.
2) Many legal problems are there.
3) theymos(/admin) have to renew licenses and all whenever something changes.
4) Forum have to hire some full-time devs to work.
4) Forum doesn't have that much money.
and last but not least, it will become a money transmitter which isn't good and it is the same reason for not implementing a tipping feature.

I think what I was suggesting is a bitcointalk wallet, run like many other wallet's, only theymos seems to knw what he's doing, I mean, this site's been up for at least 10 years, with only negligable outage's.. 1 wallet, 1 site.. hmm.. I'm pretty sure he would'nt keep the core on same machine as forum.. and the attacks will continue anyway, but internet security IS getting better thanks to metasploit passing on security weakeness's to potential target's.. I think the wallet is a good idea..
i kinda disagree again, it will only add such risk to the forum and to our coins as well, but in the end, it will still depends on the users choice which wallet they will use..

i dont agree on site build in wallet for it we will have less security.. it will only attrack hackers if the bitcoin forum will hold such amount of bitcoins.. i remember in the past years even without built in site wallet here the forum was attacked by hackers, its no far from possibilty if they start creating online wallet here

Sounds like you want a way to hack the forum. This is how the forum was hacked in late 2013 and would likely be very vulnerable to additional hacks. Oh, and start a bitcointalk wallet so we can all just stay here.. built into the site obviously
Also a bad idea. People should 100% control their private keys. Plus it would cause the forum to be more aggressive in restoring accounts when they are hacked, but it is very difficult to know for sure if an account is in fact hacked or not. Point 1:
Dude, if I wanted to hack this site, I'd start at the cmts level.. First I'd download running config, then re-up with my prefered enabled password 5 or 7, then I'd just reverse engineer my way into the host, and voila, delete the hosts db. Obviously I'm not malicious. I knew about the image hack when it came out, for at that time, I also used smf.. I moved onto better things, like writing my own forum just for security reasons. Piss off wi your un-substantiated opinions.. I'm pretty sure if you knew who I was, (yes, i am a well known hacker.. WHITE coat that is) then you'd have a good claim to this, but nah..

This is not a bad idea for noobs. I have NEVER even cared about private keys in bitcoin, never mind my countless online wallet's.. as long as i get paid, what's the point? I'm pretty sure Theymos can be trusted, unless you know otherwise?
