I am waiting on a small solar panel and a battery kit. I want to attempt to build an outdoor capable unit, even if it only stays on during the day. Could have some interesting uses.

In case you aren't actually sure what it "does", it is just basically a wi-fi hotspot that you can upload files to. They are stored on the hotspot and are available for anyone that is connected to download. No internet connectivity - but also no annoying ad-hoc networks.
