For me it's showing now:
www.etherdeilta.com/‎

I'm at a loss how can Google recommend these sites to people?

Did you get it thru the search or via google ads? This kind of scam (with ads) had a second bitth before and right after SegWit. There was a guy on that forum that lost 45 btc on the phishing ads.
To prevent this kind of scams I usually try to get to the wallet websites through the link from the official bitcoin website.

i just lost 438 usd on https://ethedelta.com  missed the "R"  so how do I report or take down this site ?

Did you mean phishing sites? Pissing means releasing piss from your bladder. Phishing is indeed a problem all over the internet, but nowadays being scammed by these phishing sites should not happen anymore. Users should be extremely vigilant with these things and should watch out for it. It is your own responsibility to protect yourself on the internet especially when it involves money.

I also seen just now looks like another scam site better to beware because new business online can be advertise in google for free with $100 coupon balance free. .
the etherdellta.com is different domain again and i think better to stay away of using this or typing the exact domain name in the browser..
If you are not the owner of the site better to stay away and stop using the site and better to trade in other exchange site where many people are using it..

Yeah, that's an ad(not ranking). the best solution is to install ad blocker and also use EtherAddressLookup(read post #9).

We should report and complain about this to google, they should be more strict about crypto site/related advertisements.

Always check if the green lock is near the address of the website in the address bar. Usually scammers will not pay 60-100 dollars to just have a green lock, like bitcoin talk has to secure the connection. If you use web wallets you should be careful what google search bring up to as google takes time to check all sites and they might not know for what it is for in the early days. Better to switch to desktop wallets.

Those are the options to check for people who know where they want to go , like in your case Op. For others it is always best to try to search reviews for a specific website, program or exchange. Asking here is the best option as  you will get feedback back only in a few minutes.

yah it might be a pain for you to check if the link you entered is correct but the green lock and https are easy to spot so you shouldn't have any problems to that.

All legit sites with some kind of payment options has a green lock and https so if you're visiting a site without, then you might wanna search it on google

moreover if you are frequently using a certain site, you should bookmark it. that way you won't get lost.

Not all sites having SSL or this green lock is considered as trusted/legit as what you mentioned, buying ssl will cost you just 10-30 USD only so scammers can buy it, you should find a review of experience of those who used this sites in the very begining in google and search 2-3 reviews. Sorry for your lost, let this incident served you as a lesson. You can report this site as a phishing site in google.

I've never tried it before but it may depend on your way to report it to central authority, where do you live? Normally, it's easier to report this kind of fraudulent in US and UK, but there are other Countries that are flat-out scams.

ActionFraud is the name of the UK’s National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting Centre, and on its site you can report a variety of fraudulent online behaviour.

The Online Better Business Bureau of the US and Canada has a site for consumers that will aid you in making complaints against internet-based retailers and other businesses.
The USA.gov's Internet Fraud Information page is a jumping off point for the reporting of crimes including phishing attacks, Internet investment fraud, consumer complains regarding internet marketing, scam e-mails, and much more. The site will link you to the appropriate agency's who handles crime reporting for each specific type of crime.

It's amazing to me how many of these sites exist!  Sorry for your loss but thanks for letting us know it's out there.  It's been said numerous times before but bookmarks are really the only places to trust your coins... even links in trusted sites can't be used.  Just at the top of my head I can think of four ICO's who've had their addresses hijacked.  I love crypto but it's really a target rich environment for scammers and hackers.

You may want to install the EtherAddressLookup extension for Chrome[1]. It has a blacklist and whitelist with multiple legit and phising websites. The list is updated constantly which will probably end up giving you an extra security edge when accessing websites that are often the target of hackers.

It's legit as you can even see the official MyEtherWallet twitter talking about them on this tweet[2].

They are also open source. GitHub repository: https://github.com/409H/EtherAddressLookup

Aw! Those phishers surely are trying hard as most of us doesn't check the websites URL properly and it really looks similar. Next time try to see if the website does have this logo in your browser
This means that it is secure but sometimes it's not reliable as phishers are also having this thing on their phishing link to get the trust of the people. Be always a keen observer.

the site is new it means who posted this thread is the owner of the site.. because its impossible new made site you can see them fast i just check it in majestic no reports and no record because its new and no backlinks even other SEO tools ..

You have the point but why he want to report it? or he just really want to inform the community here that his site exists and only want publicity?

This domain was registered just yesterday and how you find out about this site by next day?

We can report this domain being used in fraudulent activity to namecheap support and they might shut it down but don't know how much time they will take to actually seize this domain.
This is another way of promoting their own site just to have authority backlinks and boost their site rankings..
Not a good way of promoting a scam site..

Even I faced the same kind of issue in last year and I lost around 0.06 btc in my blockchain wallet. Whenever you want login to your bitcoin or altcoin wallet please don't search the wallet name in Google surfing because via ad campaigns some hackers may launch the same domain name looking site in the results you will be finally to loose the bitcoins.
