You could try Changelly (changelly.com), they allow the purchase of most Altcoins with a MasterCard/Visa. If you didn't want to do that you could probably buy Bitcoin on Coinbase (they don't charge a transaction fee) and then send the BTC immediately to an exchange (I'd recommend BTC-e.com) and convert it to LTC. Last, you could probably use the currency conversion section of this forum and pay with something like Paypal or Skrill.

I hope these helped.
"Currency conversion section of this forum"?

Perfect answer Nathan!
I was going to ask where I would be able so to get some alt coin in this way too.
Great timing to discover this thread because I was going to the currency exchange thread and would of probably ended up losing my btc there just like I had a week ago today from an exchange I did middle of last week and still have not received my refund or my btc that i sent to them in where they demanded me to send first. Roll Eyes
So best to use these sites which have both the sending and receiving parties covered.

I don’t get why you have to buy directly for litecoin, I mean even if the bitcoin is totally dead for you than just buy btc with your credit card and just exchange it to litecoin, you won’t hold any btc longer than 30 minutes I suppose, still the easiest and most trustworthy way of getting litecoin is through bitcoin if you ask me.
I believe @kiklo is sick of the slow transaction confirmations and high transaction fees. While this is very possible I think he posted this thread hoping there is a way he can avoid doing this.

Wish i could help ya but i have no idea.
You may be stuck using a shitcoin exchange for that.
Which is not what you asked about..

We need a service i thought before called LocalLitecoins.com (like the BTC site)

I will bump this for ya and suggest Google if ya didn't think of it Wink

It looks like there is a gap slowly developing in the market now that some people new to cryptocoins might want to directly buy an altcoin with their fiat money without going through bitcoin. I remember there was a Localdogecoin website years ago but there was no market for it.

BTC is Now Dead to me , because of their ridiculous fees.

BTC officially sucks,

$ .60 fee to send BTC, this is on top of a $2 cost to convert from FIAT to BTC.

So now the Minimum Cost to send $20 of BTC is $2.60  .

That is a 13% fee of the total amount.

It is now cheaper to send money by using a Money Order than BTC, and with the large # of unconfirmed transactions,
mailing a money order may be faster.

BTC is Now Slower than the US Postal Service, Tongue

So where can I buy LTC or Doge directly for FIAT using a Credit Card or Bank Account?

Coinbase is bullshit, because they don't have a Direct LiteCoin wallet.

What other places are available?

  Cool

LTC is your best alternative.  Let LTC handle the small transactions.  GDAX has bank account transfers.
