Copyright is a very strict policy for the content creator and this rule has guided against the theft of intellectual property.

This act is the most frowned upon act in this forum, the forum has zero tolerance for plagiarism and at that newbies should abstain totally from that and should stay away from such acts, whatever content you post should be developed organically, and if any part is copied from other sources the link to the original article should be posted along to avoid plagiarism and making the right reference to the author.

Usually, if you are new to the space, you first check how the forum works. That would initially be the following
  • Checking the Beginners & Help section
  • Checking the stickied post on a specific section
  • Observe how members post to increase your chances of ranking up (assuming you have done your research)

That's what the newbies should do if they are interested in figuring things out before anything else. Copying and pasting what is not yours is not good in any field or industry. Everyone should know that.

I've read up content and informations on this platform and found out, one of the greatest offense is plagiarism.

First just Incase you're new to the platform and have no idea what Plagiarism is. " It's simply an act of copying someone's ideas, or write up, or any other creative working idea, thereby presenting them as yours, without permission or a link to where such information was gotten from or posted.

Most newbies does this a lot in other to rank up in the platform and earn merit, Which is not the original idea of the platform, hence this results to their account being banned.

My advice to fellow newbies is this, If you have to copy someone's ideas for any reason, that's if the reason is good enough, Include a link where you got such information from, by so doing, You will get a good reputation from the platform and stay banned free, even if you're not merited, Your account will go on to survive.

Also don't stop researching. Follow rules and guidelines. This is the only way to substained your presences in the platform. thank you.

I've always known plagiarism to be an offence right from my high school days. But it's good to be reminded anyways because some people especially fellow newbies might end up making the same mistake of getting involved in plagiarism without knowing the implications here.

The funny thing about Plagiarism is that it is frowned upon everywhere where people are really serious about building something substantial. One good thing about the forum with relation to plagiarism is that at least every user would already have an idea of the grave consequences of stealing someone else' work without due credit even in real life. I heard someone's grad school application was rejected because of plagiarism.

This is your second topic today with advice on how not to get banned. Why? It's great to have shitposters banned, the decent posters usually figure out the rules on their own.

Isn't that's what necessarily done by any sane person?
They should have gotten to know the rules and ethics of what's going around the firm they are in without anyone telling them. I can also clearly say OP hasn't read the complete Bitcoin Forum rule's till date.
OP, for your information don't get involved in plagiarism else you'll be reported to the moderators. ⁹/¹⁰ Newbies get banned from plagiarism if your check around.
I think generally most newbies treat the forum rules and guidelines the same they treat the terms of service of every other website they use. Newbies fail to read the rules immediately after joining the forum, they read later when a problem arises or in most cases they create threads asking questions they wouldn’t need to if they had read the rules.

Thank you so much, I appreciate you being kind and giving me your honest and humbly advice, I really appreciate all of the comments so far, they've all be positive, I'm glad that I'm learning so far, With this, I will learn from my mistakes and short sight now. Once again thanks for the amazing lessons so far, I really do appreciate. Thank you
I understand that you want to prove yourself as a newbie but having a similar post all over within a short interval is where you get it wrong. It's okay to ask questions or give suggestions on what newbies should avoid doing before proving your points to newbies that are in the forum

You don't need to create a new post now and then before your message gets to newbies. This forum is not circled advising only newbies.

OP, no offense. You're merit fishing.

There are gazillion threads in here that already mentioned something about "plagiarism". You mentioned already that you read up "information and content" in this platform, so why bother make another thread. What would be the next one? "Tips how to earn merits?" Roll Eyes

OP, plagiarism is not new to us out of this forum as we all know that plagiarizing another text and you claim it that you are the owner is not a good habit we must remember that plagiarism is a branch of cheating because when you plagiarized and others did not know that is not yours then you are cheating as well because you are pretending that you're the owner also you same as that you are lying your self. and we all know that because even in our school or anywhere some people remind us that we do not claim the work of other people.

Leo is resting.
This is no longer a new information on this forum because the act plagiarism is an offence that any sound person ought to be aware of, to Op, you seem very familiar with the topic you created I hope you will also not be found committing the offense because most times newbies try to play smart by coping the entire work of another member here to attract attention and merit without referencing the original poster or giving links to the source of their information.

Back in the college the word plagiarism was explained and it was also frowned upon so anyone who is found committing the offense did not start it today the idea of stealing and cheating has been with such person.

Lordsilvabtc, i see that you reported all the topics you started in a short span in Fillippone's topic here, there is nothing bad doing that, but i don't know if you think any post reported there must be merited, and so you are starting so many similar topics; it is not so because Fillippone will check all the posts to make sure they are good posts before sending out merits, so 1 good post is better than >1 similar/bad posts.

Your new topics may not be so bad but they are similar, this is similar to this, and this is also similar to this one, and the duplicate topics could have been discussed to a great extent in the original one, without the need of creating a new topic.

Take this as a positive criticism, you would not want to do things that can make people ignore your account. Cheers bruh.

It is important to know this especially early on in one’s newbie days. You won’t be making such mistakes as you are well aware of the consequences. It will be a shame to have built a solid account and good reputation only to have plagiarized articles being discovered on your account. The price for plagiarism is a big one to pay, though I read the mods judge based on case by case basis, you can find some ban appeal threads of banned users on Meta.

And to the most important you just need to participate in the discussion and be orginal in your posting. But the shitposters needs to be kick out on the forum who desperately share those posts or ideas of other to be portrayed as their own.

Speaking about decent posters they follow up the all the rules and regulations on the forum and even not they are original in their ideas and have zeal to learn on the forum. But those who are into earning some amounts on the forum and are introduced to it as some income source want to rank up on the forum as soon they can so choose this shortcut but are caught and banned on the forum.

Well I am happy to see if you will apply this yourself.
It is very simple, do not interact with the topic or don't create a topic that you do not know, be a genuine poster here in the forum so that you can avoid copy-pasting offense. As a newbie --it is good if you will read a lot more than posting a topic like this that already existed.
No offense but plagiarism is everywhere on the platform's rules and is strictly prohibited, we all know this.
