I started a startup in 2016 by providing demo account for crypto trading . the use who new to crypto and register with us can trade with dummy crypto for education/training purpose. But some how i failed to get customers even though its a free to use. i worked for this project around 2 years and spent so much money .. and my developers also back-stabbed me by theft my code.. I don't know whom to trust that is the reason i didn't kept my use case .. I just want to know the general step by step process for any crypto project

That is the thing with FREE offerings.... most people know nothing is for FREE in this world, so they think there is a catch and they avoid it. I saw some videos on Youtube by MrBeast where he gives money or expensive items to random people and he tells them that it is FREE and they turn it down.

I should say.... rather invest a large amount of money into "research" and actually talk to people and find out what they need.... and then develop something based on the actual need and not what you think people need.  Wink

Actually Exchange is a trading platform but if any one "don't have money to invest or some one want to learn trading without investing money" this was the thought i was having that time and i thought new users will learn trading .. for this project i hired a free lancing company. that time they shared a pdf called legal agreement.  for a six months they worked for me and they given progress as well once i payed 70% of money they left with code and my servers doesn't have any code & their phone numbers are not reachable

If you don't have coding skills then likely it's hard to control a website that you are working for. First of all, you need a good developer in your team instead of hiring them this way. Better nearest someone from your friend circle who could help you in real life. If you are wondering to raise funds then you should have proper marketing plans. Projects often waste a lot of funds in the wrong places and do not get any return. However, you should share more details about your future plan. So we may suggest something useful.

Probably all forex brokers offer demo trading on their platform. Many of them use universal software, MetaTrader (MT4 or MT5), although I have seen the possibility of demo trading on some crypto platforms as well. (it would be really interesting to see the implementation of the MT platform in full crypto exchanges) the idea itself is not particularly exclusive.

as an individual, it will be very difficult for you to start a startup of this type. With the success of the course.
if your primary goal is to bring in beginners who want to learn something about trading, then maybe you could present yourself as some kind of online trading academy, where you offer free courses. You would probably have to create a lot of material (video, guides "how-to", etc...) for learning about trading. although I think the internet is already overwhelmed with various advice and tips from some self-declared experts.
if you are really skilled in trading, then opens up the possibility that one day when you create a reputation, you can have a paid part of the training.

next, for a real trading platform that should attract real traders, it takes a lot more. it is very difficult to persuade established traders to move from a system that already works to something completely new and unconfirmed. you would probably have to make some concessions that the competition does not offer. Low trading fee, low or no withdrawal fee etc...

you definitely need a lot of money to make it all happen, and a large customer base.
if your developers have taken the code, it makes you insecure at first. you can't be sure they didn't leave the back door and that it will not be abused someday. so I would say you are at the beginning, especially if you don’t have a loyal customer base which is the biggest value of this type of business.

Why ask us you should have the answer, you're at it since 2016 you mean you did not learn anything at that time you are already creating a start-up you should just correct your mistake, if you're going to work with developers you should get developers that you can talk personally and like what @ETFbitcoin suggested, make them sign a legal contract, I don't know what kind of use is that but you have to give us a hint so we can give you a good suggestion.

If you don't share some details about your startup and research, how would people give suggestion? If you don't want to discuss it publicly, you should mention how to contact you privately (such as forum PM or email).
I checked the latest topics he wrote and they seem general.
I don't know if he's trolling or using a bot, but someone who wants to help with a project will definitely be more accurate.
If he does not reply to this thread, I will be tempted to assume it is a bot account.

The majority of his post is all about asking about investment and project start-up and he's been doing this since 2016 what happened to him all these years did OP not advance and he still posting the same stuff, about his project all of us cannot give you good suggestions unless you tell us the nature and specificity of the project you are planning to launch we are left guessing what it is.
