Nag basa-basa narin ako dito about sa pag open ng BDO account, pero nag aalangan parin ako kung ano isasagot ko sa source of income/funds,
Cryptocurrency trader ba? Freelance job? Kaka 18 ko lang last year and I'm planning to save money for my future.

Well BDO won't force you to tell the truth, but it's not wise to lie, when they ask you to put your current job just put the real job you have, BDO will only ask you the money source when you deposit around 25,000 thousand a day or more than 100,000 thousand in a month, but if you put 5k to 10k a month then there is no issue, "online business" is the most common answer they receive from someone who always deposit money on their account when they don't have license business or any business.

A second piece of advice try to open also accounts: to Metrobank, land bank of the Philippines, Philippines National Bank, Union Bank, Rural Bank, or any bank near you so you could broke your money in to small amount before putting or saving it then they won't ask you over and over again.

sa pagkakaalam ko nabalita ang BDO sa paghold ng cashout at withdrawal last January due to the reason of crypto-currency specially si btc , may na ipost sa facebook during that time that their accounts being hold , hopefully may update na ngaun about this matter , but as far as I know wala pa akong nakitang sulosyon about that. ask mo mga ka-btt natin na nakapag cashout na sa BDO this March at darating na April
