Hi guys,

I'm new in bitcoin so i need your opinion. Lately, i loss $100 in all my investment.Because they say Don't put all your egg in one basket so i scatter all my money in some investment site like cloud mining, hyip and ptc site. But all of them were gone one by one aside in genesis. So i am thinking to buy a hardware and put up my own mining. Can you recommend what kind of hardware i can buy from cheapest price? And also how to setup that hardware? Since i am living inside the campus is there any threat/risk using that hardware?Looking forward to your suggestion. Thanks

Warm Regards,

Guys and Gals stop being so hostile against newbies and also someone who has been burned by scams. He came here for advice and that is what we are suppose to give. Leave the posting in the wrong sections to the mods to deal with. OP, Why do you want to mine? Do you think it is still profitable?

Mining some Alt coins might still be profitable, but not Bitcoin. ^hmmmm^

in these days mining of bitcoins  through hardware is not more profitable since you can buy s9 recently launched its mining per day is about 0.54 btc somthing and spent of electricity per day is about 0.01 btc . but the purchase amount of this hardware is more .

what country are you pertaining that cost 0.01btc only for electricity in mining 0.54btc per day??? I think the rate of electricity in that country is just a penny when you think the ratio of the btc being mined vs. the consumption of electricity. S9 antminer consumes approximately 1.2kwh and that will cost a huge amount when you run it whole day.
I want to really know what country so that i will established my own mining farm there.

Don't mine bitcoin. difficulty is too hard for anyone with small time hardware. > 100 000 $

Don't mine at all, if you want to invest, just buy the bitcoin, or buy ethereum.

For op all of your information is already given above me and all of that is up to you for trying implementing the another member's suggestion in a real act, but for the cheapest mining hardware it's realted into usb miniing hardware in my minds because for the another mining hardware especially for antminers will need to providing a lot of money.

What kinds of cryptos coins will be mined? (Are like sha256,X11,X15 or another algoritm) you must choose it for first time before you buy mining hardware, and you must calculate time to return of investment and calculating of difficulty the coins.

OP, it is not advisable to mine BTC anymore without any serious investment in it. It is now the time of professional mining. Gone are the days of old when people used to mine using their CPU. But if you really want to mine I advise doing research on Ethereum mining and Monero mining. Because of those coins' high prices I would assume that mining them could still be profitable for amateur miners and hobbyists.
It's not about the price of coins but about the difficulty of every coin because halving the difficulty for mining bitcoin will become a more hardest comparing than before halving is coming.

Oh yes I forgot to point that out also. Thanks for reminding me. That said it would be good to use mining calculators in order to find out if your mining venture would be profitable or not.

I think you're in the wrong section, it's correct for moving your topic in here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0

But for more about the mining hardware and you can considering and matching with your amount.

https://www.bitcoinmining.com/bitcoin-mining-hardware/

For how setup the hardware for you.

http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-to-set-up-a-miner/

The risk just for the electricity will go up because will taking a lot of electricity but I think it's just relied on with your miner machine.
