why wait when you can use armory that already has that function
I was planning to use its cold storage option but I had trouble running armory on a Win7 machine (it crashes when synching with the blockchain.)
I do like the print to paper option!

Would be nice. Armory is awesome but I trust the Satoshi client more as many more eyes are looking at it.

I have seen a lot of smart people recommend it and also Armory uses Satoshi client to broadcast the tx's out and uses the same blockchain. So while many eyes look on Armory as well, but technically since they piggy back you know it is secure. Plus the developer, Alan is very smart and has opened up his privacy to make sure Armory is the best it can be.

Please God, let them put in coin control.

armory has this feature as well Wink I been using it for a while now LMAO jealous

I prefer the Satoshi client, but the amount of features (in the GUI) are shit. I've been using the coin control fork for a while.

There isn't, but I suspect at least the payment protocol will be a part of it.

Please explain this. In simple words.  Smiley
Instead of being limited to secure but hard to remember destination addresses, you'll be able to send funds to easy-to-use addresses that an attacker who can compromise a CA could redirect away from the intended recipient.

Is there a roadmap for the next version(s) of Bitcoin?

I was only able to find this: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/User:Gmaxwell/features
