Thanks for detail review of this of project  .. I have stop hosting there bounty and closed the bounty now .

Awesome! Thank you for closing down the bounty! I will remove your profile link. Thanks for taking action  Grin

Great job, OP. And thanks for setting out the accusation in a clear format.

With the CEO being a fake profile, I think that it is safe to call this site as scam regardless of whether or not the rest of the team is fake (which probably is). There is really no point in wasting energy in trying to uncover the rest of the team when it's already guaranteed to be a fraud.

The idea is really sketchy anyways, with such high promises from a team that has never been heard before. Another alarm that should have went off.

Bounty was closed today, which is a good job on the part of the manager. In future, probably do some more research before accepting gigs like this.

The pleasure is mine  Smiley  I want to help the community as much as I can. The moment I found out that my friend almost got scammed by another fake ICO (PumpkinPro), I pursued another project to raise some awareness about these ongoing scams.

Yes, If one of the members of the team is a fake, you can conclude that the ICO is a scam, no matter why they didn't use their real picture.

True, the CEO is the core member of the team. Once fake, the project is fake.

Good Job finding this scam. Sometimes they add stuff to the image thinking that we will not find them, in this case, a logo.
If you use any software to edit an image and remove the background, logo, etc, the image can be found most of the time.

we found the same image of their CEO here: http://www.sinchew.com.my/node/1769336

Thanks! It's pretty much challenging when they photoshop things.

Good find, I hope the other members in here can give the manager a negative review for hosting a fake ICO.

Its look valid accusation to me. Fake team means began of scam. Scammer was tagged by me , due to busy I was't able to participate on discussion. Btw, you are doing good job. Keep it up.

I've come to not trust any of these "teams".  I don't know from what part of the world they come from (looks like China or a nearby country), but wherever it is scamming seems to be ingrained in their culture.  I wouldn't be surprised if it was China, since they fake and counterfeit things and have no hesitation about doing so.

Good catch.

Nice to see you are start tagging ICO scammer lately . Since scam isn't moderate by forum, I think we can reduced by trust system. Currently except marlboroza I can't see other DT is active here. suchmoon was active but recently I can't see much on this board. May be busy on personal life (IMO) However I tagged all scammer with fake team, although there is no value of my tag.

Recently no ICO want to come with real team. There is two reason, They are well planed scammer  or they worried about raise fund. Mostly are well planed scammed.

Edit: Look like they (CEO) had change profile picture from LinkedIn profile. Its clear CEO is fake ; obviously Photoshoped picture

The scammer is pretty smart since reverse searching the image with logo won't give me results....

It seems I can't get some results from the other team members but when you check their linkedin profile it looks pretty new.
It's pretty obvious on why this is a scam, why would the "CEO" use someone else's picture...  Lips sealed Lips sealed[/size]

If the CEO is fake expect everything else to be fake as well. I would not waste time researching the rest of the team.

The scammer is pretty smart since reverse searching the image with logo won't give me results. So I used the picture of the CEO's linkedin account and I got some hits. Unfortunately, I can't get results from the other team members so any help on reverse engineering this one is pretty much appreciated.
