Hello guys,

I offer people in my office how to buy and sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I decided to combine it with my bible bookshop for people to be acquainted with the working principles of bitcoin and the ongoing financial revolution.
Some of them that wanted to more about bitcoin keep coming up with PLATINCOIN and with so much hope that it will make them rich and most likely dethrone the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I have been telling them that this Plantincoin is built like an MLM in its model and that it was going to fail, they feel I am been myopic in my view.

Before now, I never even knew anything like plantincoin does exist, but with the rate at which people are holding seminars after seminars in my city, I have been forced to bring it here for an expert review, opinion, and input. I had brought up this same coin for commentaries in Nigeria's SIBAN group ( a cryptocurrency body in Nigeria), but no one ever responded, maybe they are not interested in the talk.

Why I believe this will fail is this: It's built-in MLM pattern, it has some referral bonus, and there are levels of premium package program investment. I read that the CEO Alex had been involved in a scam coin called Swisscoin before launching this Platincoin. The way they are indoctrinating their investors that it will beat bitcoin in 2-3years off the market and that it's backed bu something but bitcoin is backed by nothing. I am scared this will be worst than bitconnect, and I just hope investors won't take to suicide when their investment finally fails.

Guys, I want to schedule a time to attend one of the meetings of Platincoin in my city, and disproof the leaders in other to save investors of future loss, but first I need your input and reviews, if possible, let's take down this scam.

It's on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/platincoin/ and coingecko https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/platincoin?utm_content=platincoin&utm_medium=search_coin&utm_source=coingecko

Your constructive and well-researched responses will be appreciated.
Attending their meeting to counter their leaders might only land you into problems, it's crystal clear that it's scam project if they ever tried to create hype that it will beat bitcoin in coming years, that's the lamest talk I've heard this year. Creating a thread on popular forums like this one is OK to create awareness, you don't need to be involved physically to disproof them unless you are Police or FBI or whatever armed force.

This the first time I have heard about this project. Bitconnect was one of the biggest scam in cryptocurrency industry. Why are people investing in this project? Haven't they heard about Bitconnect.

If people want to invest in the project, let them invest. Afterall it is their money and they know what is good for them. You have done your part by making them aware of the consequences, when it goes wrong they will realise what a valuable friend your are.

Good day! I learned about this project back in 2016. After looking at the project and all their failures, I went there only for a minimum of $ 5. And never regretted. Recently I talked with my partner on this project. He is very upset. He cannot sell his coins and take his money. I think everything is clear in this situation. It is a pity that there are still people who do not know the whole essence and believe in them. (
Since there are no real value in the market of that coins this thing will really happen. Unlike bitconnect that listed in many exchange i will guess this one have thier own thats why its hard for members ro sell thier holdings. they are just manipulating the price by increasing it daily but the worst is you cant sell it when the price too high because there will be no more buyers.

Hello. I am well acquainted with the Platincoin project they do not work honestly. Many investors have invested in this project, but now they can’t withdraw their money. Be careful with this project.

I am increasingly suspicious of the Platincoin offer, let alone there is a special package to invest in. Maybe a lot of people will be trapped in it, scamer continues to do ways to get members to make a lot of deposit, but this is just a hoax, with these expensive coins, traders and investors are not will believe it.

Virtual address and no team behind it and offering package plan these are pretty obvious features of scam project if you something that what Bitconnectcoin has,  make no mistake about it stay away from this project, I hope the same should be posted in the scam section for reference, so people will know and create a flag for this, I'll support a flag that will be created for this.

Scammers will always scam until they are exposed, we have seen this happen in ICO they use fake people to scam people and they do that over and over again until they are exposed,
Agreed. It happens throughout the whole space and started well before ICO's were a thing. Interestingly, a lot of these scams are operared by a few entities who spread their risk in terms of getting busted.

If one project gets busted, they have like 10 other projects that are up and running generating them basically free income. The same applies to signal groups where most groups are operated by just a few entities. It's so bad.

we should never trust these people even if they say they are sorry this time it's real, or even if they deny this, we should be up against these people by exposing them.
Common sense. People need to read into how to use this characteristic most well thinking people are naturally gifted with.

Since you have find out that its built on MLM pattern why still stressing yourself? You even said the CEO once involved in scam project called swisscoin so why still doubting yourself? i believe the reason why i never get scammed is i seek for answers, once a project is tagged scam i instantly move on
Yes, if someone has been proven through a fraudulent project, then whatever is made by that person must be analyzed first, because now the scammers are very rampant in crypto, so many investors have fallen victim to them, so stay alert to scammers.

Your observation is correct, any project that offer referral and package plan, should be considered an MLM just like Bitcoinconnect, this is the first time I read about this coin but they are doing good in the market, there are no team in their home page, I check their office address in Google map
UNIT 2512, 25/F, LANGHAM PLACE OFFICE TOWER, 8 ARGYLE STREET, MONGKOK, HONG KONG

They are renting a virtual office from this company
https://www.jumpstartoffices.com/en/virtual-office-hong-kong/langham-place-mongkok/

People should do a research before investing here, we don't know who are the people behind this project.

The same thing as FOIN was built on MLM, even my friend has made a deposit on the website or to his leaders and the money has come in around $17,000 and even then my friend came to the house complaining that his FOIN token cannot be withdrawn and deposited on the exchange also still closed.
I think it's quite dangerous to invest there.

You should learn to read to understand and when you don't have any meaningful thing to contribute, you should better never reply to a serious post. This is investigative journalism, don't just post because you want to complete a signature campaign.  I said I read about the CEO, so you are authoritatively saying I said the CEO is a scammer, just learn to do a better job.
