And another reason why people wants to earn bitcoin is that is the situation of our economy - no employment - under salaried.

I agree. India's economy is seriously derailing. Gone are the days when graduation was enough to secure jobs in India. I talk to my friends who are living in Canada or Australia and they tell me that if you have enough IQ and done graduation, you will easily get job here. But look in India! As per recent report, around 94% Indian engineering graduates are unfit to be recruited. And the report is about professional courses. If we talk about general graduations like BA, B.Com then this percentage may be as high as 99%. You literally aren't learning any skill in these courses.

I don't know who to blame, education system, government, mentality or public attitude but situation is worsening everyday. Here is one of the photo perfectly showcasing today's scenario of India:

PS: I think we are derailing this thread so this will be my final post in this thread. Smiley

I believe when Bitcoin will cross ₹10 lakhs again, we will see new Indians popping up in the forum but their posts would just be limited to either: How can I earn Bitcoin on this forum or Is it good time to invest in XYZ coin. But we don't want such members in this section. Rather we want people who are really interested in learning about Bitcoin and blockchain, who can contribute to Bitcoin core, who can submit BIPs. I know several such Indians but they aren't interested to signup here as there is not much intellectual discussion on this forum, especially in Indian section.
Most most of us might be that newbies when we started but one we realize how important is to have bitcoin in our real life will change their attitude towards this forum for some it may take years but they will turn into contributing members at some point. Smiley

The same problem in raffle game no 2 because we still didn't get enough participants to complete the game, because we have only 3  more days to go for end of February months and we need one more participant complete that. I hope you guys doing really great job here and I sure we will get back all bitcointalk Indian users to back india board soon
Indian community is lacking active participants even though lot of active members from India are much active on main boards alone so the problem is still persist on the raffle 2.But I hope bitcoin price increase more people will join into our community especially true newbies.

Yeah! It's true that with increase in price, more people attract towards Bitcoin. I remember lots of locals asking me how to buy Ripple (XRP) in late 2017. At one point of time, XRP was trading at the premium of 25% in India! But that was just because of Bandwagon Effect. People were buying because they heard others buying it. Such people contribute nothing to system, they are just here to make money.

I believe when Bitcoin will cross ₹10 lakhs again, we will see new Indians popping up in the forum but their posts would just be limited to either: How can I earn Bitcoin on this forum or Is it good time to invest in XYZ coin. Really it is quite fun when I am answering the questions in google forum because it will gives great knowledge about crypto and related news. and I want to know  the time line for this  Quiz.
I was kinda thinking the same. I wanted to post a deadline for the quiz so that I can announce the winners and do the needful.
But I haven't received enough responses yet and so am not clear whether to post a deadline or not.
I have hardly received 7 responses. I was expecting quite more than this. May be the senior members are not involving so that they can give chances to the new comers (atleast take the quiz and then may be pass on the reward to somebody else or to our group).
I would request all the new comers and the senior members to take the quiz.

I took the quiz, but just did as per my knowledge and the last known moderator was Hesinburg hunter. I don't know whether he is really a moderator or not, but he has said some good things to bring this section into active forums.

Heisenberg never was the moderator of Indian section. Only Benson had been the moderator of this section. After his removal, no one served as the local moderator and most of the spam in the section goes unnoticed. Only those thread which are reported are looked by global moderators.

I think it was Benson who was removed after the coinsecure fiasco... Coinsecure and unocoin were the first two exchanges I had used
Yes, He was earlier and  few months back I used to read his threads and leave the forum without posting here. This forums looks totally waste for me in those days comparing to other board languages where we find daily they have plenty of posts, threads.
He never posted a word to help Indians except the news, etc.

allahabadi, webtricks and akhjob responded before me and it was fun answering those and i hope everyone try this fun quiz and i hope my mail ID will be safe with you @OP as i do not want any advertisement in my mail.
If i am the lucky winner the winning funds should be deposited to the GREAT INDIAN LOTTERY conducted by Heisenberg_Hunter.

^ Email? I didn't see any field requesting email address. I believe only BTT username was asked apart from the Blockchain related questions.
You need to log in with your Mail ID to fill up the quiz.

I don't think OP can see that mail list, only Google can see it... That's what I think it is...

P.s. Earlier OP was explicitly adding for email id, which he then changed to Bitcointalk ID
Yeah, I am unable to see the email addresses. I guess only Google is able to see those addresses.
Thanks @allahabadi for the suggestion to remove email addresses.

Nice. Will check and update  Smiley

I really enjoyed the quiz, I haven't even heard of certain things but I believe the quiz was a bit easy as you can easily identify the answers from the options except for the dates and values. The response page was good, but you could have shown answers Smiley

Please collect BTCtalk ID only, not email addresses.
U can mail them on the platform itself

Edit: Done with the quiz Grin
Updated the form.
No more email addresses. Fill in your bitcointalk account name in the form.
Please take the quiz again and leave your feedback here.

Really enlightened after the quiz, also eagerly waiting for the answers. A small criticism that I wud make is that the quiz tended to be on the nerdy side. Wish we cud add some fun trivia too, like a question on Slaying of the BTC whale art.

Also slangs such as HODL and der origin  Grin

Just a few suggestions from my side.
Yeah I was kinda worried for the quiz not to be too easy. I just tried my best on selecting the questions for the quiz.
Thanks for the feedback though. I will keep it in mind and try to add some fun questions the next time.

Hi guyz,

As discussed earlier I have made a short quiz with 10 questions and the one who answers all the questions or most of the questions correctly will receive 0.0005 BTC as a reward.
It's a fun activity to increase the board activity and test your knowledge on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. I will request everybody to take the quiz not only for the reward but for the Indian Sub.

Take the quiz here:
https://forms.gle/vTJWAY7y39xeK4LG7

Note:
  • Do not use google as this is just a normal quiz to encourage new users join the forum. Don't spoil the fun using google.
  • The top two people to answer all or most of the questions correctly will be selected as winners.
  • Enter your bitcointalk account name or profile link in the quiz form correctly to receive the reward.
  • Winners will have to post their BTC addresses when asked for to receive the reward.

This is my first time organizing such a thing. Kindly bare with me for any mistakes.
Feedback and suggestions on the quiz are welcome.
