This game now rewards the person who enters the most and the last person to enter so there is an advantage to enter the lottery earlier when the cost is still low.

I wish the winner has also a bitcointalk account so that he will come forward himself and testify that he indeed won this contest. And I hope he is not a newbie like you. I love this contest and its mechanics, and I also think a lot are also appreciating this but many have some doubts and reservations about how legit this is. A little assurance is needed for them for sure. With that, this will for sure increase the participants.

The game's original pot was 2 ETH and its original deadline was Nov 8th, 11:16:00 UTC. By the end of the game, the pot increased to 2.190125 ETH and the deadline was extended to Nov 8th, 15:14:55 UTC, which is about 5 hours extended from the initial deadline. The winning address: 0xc54100fc034d412c21ba92ccf2d916374ac22555 put about 0.096 ETH into the game throughout various entries to be eventually rewarded by a 2.094125 ETH profit. Initially this player had competition mostly from address: 0xB74D5f0a81Ce99aC1857133E489bC2b4954935fF, who almost won the pot earlier but another player entered in the last minute which prevented that. 0xB74D5f0a81Ce99aC1857133E489bC2b4954935fF then stopped participating the game.

After a few hours, no one else bid against the winner leaving that person holding the entire pot. Possible reasons for this could be that potential entrants have been burned by similar games in the past and decided to skip or that they felt they had no chance against a person potentially using a bot. Those who had entered only to be beat shortly after entering may have felt a sense of what is the point and decided to forego the next time. All in all, the winner of this game had more determination to win than others playing thus reaping the reward.

The benefit for Ethereum smart contract games is that there is no mechanism for the contract creator (the house) to have an advantage in the game. I would have to play by the same rules as everyone else with no advantage. This is a smart contract lottery, therefore the players are anonymous. The winner of the game would have to come forward for us to know who he/she is. Probably the best way you can try to check it yourself would be to follow the transaction history of the winning address.

I hope you don't disappear with collected money.

I have to be honest, I like the rules. They are simple and straight to the point. There are no other complicated mechanics for interested players. But why is this not reaching a wider audience? 0.001 ETH is pretty low already for the chance of winning more than a couple of ETHs. I am interested to join but only if I have all the available time that I want. I don't want to be contributing ETH to other people. Lol. I want to join and win.

This game is quite interesting, like to be honest this is still subject to manipulation by the developer because he controls everything here, but I like to see who is going to be the winner and if they can keep this application clean from manipulation, but yes this works like a Ponzi Scheme, but the difference is the one that comes in late is the winner.

I suggest you counsel a coder friend to help you understand the contract so you can make an informed decision to enter. There is no ability for the developer to drain the pot as their only functionality is to change the fee address.


Funding a Round 2 depends on the interest level of Round 1, which is TBD.

Has anyone audited the source code? I can't read code myself so i would like to know that the developers are not able to empty the contract by themselves. Also this should go under gambling threads imho.

It is an interesting idea, but with all the gas fees, it is almost impossible to win be the last one. But on the other hand, it is pretty interesting type of gambling, which makes fun and gives an opportunity to win some ETH.

Knowing about smart contracts it would automatically sent out winning amounts to those users who do able to win the lottery.Its all in the contract thats why
such list cant really be seen but somehow you can check out those addresses that had joined up the game.

These kind of games are one famous in the past but now it seems it isnt already getting some attention as you can see there's only few made up a deposit.

Very creative. I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of participants though i don't expect the bulk of them to join until close to the end of the deadline. That's when the real competition will start. At this point people who are interested to join would probably wait out until the last day. At least that's what i'm planning to do.

Looks sketchy. I've had experience with ETH based lotteries Dapps and it hasn't been good so far. I was come short and unlucky. For this reason, I won't participate.


I think he was just confused. Since the # of participating users are yet to be known, the final extension time so he was just asking to know. On a lighter note though, I support the suggestion about adding a timer to the website /github page.

because i saw that there is 2 time, the first one each transaction/deposit extension time increase 10 minutes then there is 0.5 second increase time
