00null, your motive for talking on about playtin is not understood. Do you care to be more
transparent as to why you keep saying, "Come on in, the water's fine"?
Well, I am playing there since about 1 year. Never had any issues. And now I own shares and those can be traded inside. I think it is possible to make some profit from buying and selling shares Wink

Can you show (within this forum space) how the casino is provably fair? (I'd love to see a txid from
one of your recent bets).
This casino does not spam the blockchain, like the old SD, it works like JD.
You can verify all bets. Like this one:
https://playt.in/#verify#pzgOrJ7EBrbOWid0wMhjyQ9eC3kqBHgpf9OlPvHzn84MbU

Anyway, a 100BTC is a lot of coin to risk on a low volume, low purse casino. It will likely
take much more than you reporting 0.3%/day return on investment. If you want to grow
the success of this casino, please explain how they intend to grow their business model.
As far as I understand this: for each new share that is invested, the bankroll is increased. This increases the max-bet of all games. A higher max-bet means higher profit. Basically, it is a model quite similar to just-dice.

BTW, I don't think the minimum is for new shares is 100 BTC. It seems that there is a fixed fee and the more shares one creates the lower the fee per share.
So right now, for 10 shares the price would be 1.8 BTC/share, for 100 shares it is 1.08 BTC/share, for 1000 is would be 1.008 BTC/share.
Current highest bid price is 1.26 BTC, so there is some opportunity there, but I am not rich enough for this...

But to keep you informed, I got 0.00293747 BTC per share today Wink

Ultimately, I am asking for some "investment worthy" information.
Yeah, some statement/information from playtin would be really great...

As I understand they issue the shares themselves? Where is the security for investors? Is there someone who does the audit? Who guarantees that the shares won't be diluted?

Almost similar to yesterday: 0.00293247 BTC per share, so again almost 0.3% per day Smiley

I read every post you've put on BCT. You've been around awhile. You aren't just posting
about casinos. You got burned by BFL (like the rest of us). You look like a real contributor
to the community.

00null, your motive for talking on about playtin is not understood. Do you care to be more
transparent as to why you keep saying, "Come on in, the water's fine"?

Where are all the other folk saying, "Come on in, the water's fine"?

Why did playtin stop activity on the bct forum? Do you know who runs this casino? Can you
show (within this forum space) how the casino is provably fair? (I'd love to see a txid from
one of your recent bets).

Addi, thanks for the very interesting insider information.
In my opinion their factors (maxbet/bankroll) are way to conservative, maybe that is one of the reasons why they don't make more profit. On the other hand, as a shareholder, it is great to know that there is no risk that the casino itself goes bankrupt.

BTW, today I got 0.00289207 BTC per share Grin

I looked, it seems they have made their maxbets automatically alter depending on how much the bankroll (ie. # shares) is. Only 0.022 BTC max per number on Roulette currently is really low and leaves a lot of bitcoin on the table.

I agree, 22 mBTC is quite low. However, from playing there I know that this is per field, so even if the number itself is maxed, you can still place the double maxbet on the splits around it, and 4 times the maxbet on the corners around it. But still, too low.

Anyway, in the meantime I enjoy the very nice daily dividend Smiley

okay, fine, it pays 9% a month -- now why in the hell would they offer it to outside investors?

They maybe wanted to cash out their bankroll, to use for something else or just take as profit.
Or they hope the popularity that this model has given to sites like just-dice will boost their site similarly.

I am kind of suprised by their low profit in general though, especially in 2013 when competition wasn't so obnoxiously present. They had a roulette I think a month or 2 before us, and at that time there were only 2 provably fair roulettes.

If I compare their numbers with SatoshiBet, all I can conclude is that there is an awful lot of untapped potential for playt.in. Not sure if it will ever get tapped, that's up to them.

Note; I do not want to endorse this site and its shares. Do your own due diligence. One red flag to me is that the playt.in account which used to be very active, hasn't posted for ages; https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/playtin-81588

My personal guess:
They are expanding their business. They have basically added an exchange (currently only LTC/BTC, but the user interface indicates that there will be more currencies) and an asset trading platform to their site, and are using their own shares as the first traded asset, while at the same time they upscale the casino by doing this (look at just-dice as why to let outsiders invest). Those efforts combined will bring them more players and as a result more profit.

Just checked my daily income, today it was 0.00284970 BTC per share. So only 0.28%/day. Just kidding, this is really great Cheesy

But the big surprise was that apparently some investor bought about 12% new shares. Smart move. I really wish I had the coins to do this...

think for a minute

how could anyone possibly invest money so that it paid 9% a month
Takes only 2 seconds:
Click this link: https://playt.in. Then you see playtin is a casino. The shares are bankroll shares, so the dividend is from the casino profit. 9% a month sounds quite reasonable Wink

Again a very high payout today, even higher than yesterday: 0.00341254 BTC per share.
If this trend continuous they will reach 10% dividend per month. It would be really nice to have more shares.

Yes, it is inside playtin. It seems they have sort of anonymous accounts, you cannot even enter an email address anywhere.
Personally I use one of their user/password style accounts, because it gives me 2FA using Google Auth.

Anybody want to sell me some more cheap playtin shares?
I want buy this cheap shares too. The price on the orderbook is much higher than on "create new shares", but that only makes sense for large order.
Maybe someone can organize a group buy. We can then sell the cheaper shares to the orderbook.
That is a really nice idea.
If we reach a decent amount I would be in with say 5 BTC.
How do we find someone trustworthy for this?

I searched, there seems to be no official thread about this.

I sometimes play at playtin and today noticed that they now sell shares on site, and have a litecoin exchange.
They do a lot of things in some unusual way, but the daily payout is quite high. At least according the history page in there...
Eventually I bought myself some shares, hopefully I will get rich Wink
Does anyone else already own shares?

Edit: I just figured that maybe not everyone knows this site. Here is the URL: https://playt.in
