If your budget is really only a grand, that limits your choices.

For building a GPU based rig, normally you'd  need to spend about $400 - $500 on the PC hardware (MB, HD, Ram, Power Supply, CPU) before buying the video cards (up to 6 of them on an average system).  each card is going to be about $250 - $700 depending on what you go with.

For a grand theres a couple choices;   buy a used gaming pc from a couple years back if you can find one for a couple hundred bucks and just add GPUs to it.  might start with 2 decent ones, then make some money off of them to build a better / more complete rig later.

The other option is to buy an older generation ASIC miner like the S7 which you might be able to get for 6 - 800 and would be plug-and-play but will only work on BTC.

If you want to actually make money, it might be better to invest the 1k into trading currencies for a few months and see if youre able to make enough to build a more complete solution.   That will also let you learn the different currencies, and learn the process for transacting with the various coins and wallets.

Budget is not problem. It's just minimum budget. I can invest in mining upto 3-5k USD.  I also have 2 PC of 2 GB RAM and I am going to buy new one for mining purpose only.
Asic miner works only for BTC ? not in other coins?
Which miner will be best for DASH?
trading I hate. I don't have time for trading.

LoL,

You don't have time for trading?  What makes you think you have time for mining?  I have been working with computer for over 20 years and have a degree in computer science.  Every time I change anything in my rigs its a circus.  Sometimes its a circus when I don't.  There are forum after forum (this is only 1) with thread after thread of people trying to get up, running, and stay running.  It is time consuming

Most of the people mining started mining when the returns were much higher.  The same equipment that was making 20-30.00 a day is now making 10-12.00 a day.  It certainly may have been worth putting a rig together for 2000.00 when you were getting 30.00 a day because you would make your money back in 2-3 months.  Now its going to be closer to 9 months to a year (if at all).  That means you won't make a penny for 9 months to a year, and may never make any money at all.  Sounds like a great deal to me!!!  But that is the current situation.

If you want to get into mining, I'd be trying to do it as cheap as possible.  That means NO NEW GEAR.  My son and I started mining with a few (2) 970s we purchased used for 200.00, a cpu/mobo we picked up for 30.00, an old hard drive, and 15.00 worth of memory.  There is no need to spend a lot of money (and most likely a bad idea) to get started.  Some people even have the parts laying around.  You just need a computer with a video card.

Get the minimum and see if you have the tech skill to get it running.

From there, you can start adding and expanding.

Start somewhere rather than trying to get everyone here to do all the work for you, we can't.  Get a computer mining and start asking specific questions (after using the search on the forum).  No one here is going to be able to write a book for you on how to start mining.

OK so build a PC with a low power CPU, 4GB ram, a very small hard drive and a very large gold rated power supply.   Install Linux or Windows based on what you can manage easiest.   Install a couple of high end video cards and go for it.  I would suggest installing the legacy version of NiceHash to get started  mining some coins.  It will balance between different coins depending on what is earning the best at the moment.   Once you get more experience you can try to mine directly to the coins of your choice.

If you want to invest a bit more money, buy riser cards for that same PC and add 3-4 more video cards.  I'd suggest sticking to the same brand of GPUs (Either NVIDIA or AMD) to avoid issues.   If you really want to mine a large variety of coins, the Nvidias might be a better option. 1070's were mentioned which work very well but try not to pay too much for them as they cost more than normal at the moment.

If electricity isn't a problem (you should really define 'isn't a problem', i'm considering it free) you can try to get cheap R9 390s, or you can just go in everyone's way and get a couple of gtx 1070s, these perform really well on a lot of algorithms
Yes it absolutely free for me. Or it is not free but I make it free. It doesn't matter for electricity for me. I just want to start mining. I am n crypto world from last 1-2 year

Here are my questions:-
My budget is  $1k , which hardware I should buy. ( No problem of electricity)
From where I can buy( please post links)

From your budget, I can do 2 AMD cards particularly RX580/570 you may start sourcing at https://www.newegg.com or at Amazon, depending in your location,

you may also check your local suppliers on this.

I can mine multiple coins at once in one hardware?

No, you can only do multiple instance, however at your present budget seems not possible.

If not then I can change mining coins? ( I means if now I am mining ETH and then I want to mine LTCI can change it to LTC or not?)

Yes, but  mining LTC using GPU is a waste of time and money since this is a ASIC based. instead go to Calculators like whattomine.com to determine what are coins profitable for your hardware.

You want a GPU card for your computer if you want to mine multiple coins with it.  The highest tier gaming cards are what you want.
This is Answer? No not i am not looking for this answer please check questions again. I am not here kidding. Dont reply without reading.

Sorry I guess I misunderstood your question "I can mine multiple coins at once in one hardware?"
I think it would be clearer if you replaced the word "hardware" with "ASIC"
Everyone understand my questions except you. It happens. And I sorry for my inrelevent questions. My English is not good enough to understand others.

As you can see I am newbie ( my account too).
I am very interested to mine altcoins like eth but don't have any knowledge.

I am learning about mining from online sources, so please don't suggest me to learn first ..........

Waiting for replies hope I can learn more from here

Some guidelines for you...

Use the online profit calculators to help you determine if a coin is profitable.

Older ASICs might be an option if power consumption is not a problem.  Where I am the cost of electricity is more than I would mine if I used older ASICs

Make sure whatever coin you mine has an active community so you  can reach out to them for help if need be.

If you are going to mine with multiple GPUs, start with one first and confirm it works before adding more.

Definately i willl use online calculator to calculate my profit.  Will check in details about ASICS (best one).  I am going to mine altcoins like ETH, LTC or DASH. Will check some vedios related to this.

If you're really that green, Id suggest starting with 2 GPUs on a motherboard with two PCIE16 slots.   Once you get some experience you can decide if you want to add riser cards (1x -> 16x risers to allow you to put in more GPUs).   For cards, take your pick, the type of card you buy will influence what coins are most profitable for you and how much you will make.   Get a gold rated power supply of at least 750 watts if you want some room to add more cards.   Don't skimp on a PS as they will contribute to your power usage.

Take a look at the profitability calculator on NiceHash.com for an idea of what GPUs are profitable at the moment.    Unfortunately almost all of them are overpriced right now because of the current mining craze.  Be careful to not overpay for GPUs as it will make it much harder to ROI.

Honestly, start doing some serious reading and watching youtube.   If you can't build and support a home built PC then this is not the hobby for you.

Thanks for INFO.
Can you please share any best-guided youtube video?
It will help me to learn before i start.
Thanks

Gone phishing...
If electricity is not a problem at all, I would consider purchasing power-hungry, upper-tier cards from previous generations of AMD GPUs.

Newer ones tend to be more efficient with power (some exceptions, such as 580/570 vs. 480/470), but for someone with free electricity (or flat-payment electricity), the increased power requirements of older cards are only a concern when they increase your required budget for PSUs.
