From what I've seen of Moneraro posted hashrates, 1kh/s is a fairly HIGH number for either a single GPU or a single CPU (they appear to have done a good job of making the coin GPU-resistant).

Coin can be profitable - *IF* you have cheap-enough electric - but for mining with GPUs Ethereum blows it's profitability out of the water by a wide margin.

To mine with?? What coins?? How much is your power?? How much money you want to spend??

To mine Cryptonotes e.g. Monero or Bytecoin using Minergate software.
if i can get 100Kh/s i think am ok with it. In this case i will be earning 0.73514BTC a week.

I guess I should of been mining Monero instead of ETH.

IF it was EVER profitable,it was about a year or more ago   Roll Eyes

Trust me,I watch the altcoin threads & several other forums.I know of NOTHING that makes THAT much with so little hashpower  Cheesy

currently a $800 system with a single 1070 can give you around $200 per month, so roi in 4 months, but you need to remove electricity

You guys seems not understanding me... I need a mining hardware that can cost $200 or less to buy and not $200 ROI.

You aren't buying ANYTHING new for $200 - flat out CAN'T build a system that cheap - that is going to mine worth anything if at all.

It's a bit of a pain building even a LOW END computer system for under $300 - and that's using an APU with very low-end graphics that isn't going to mine much of anything.

You need to adjust your expectations on cost a LOT, as your currently expressed intent is 100% UNREALISTIC.

It seems that you dont understand the meaning of ROI

No it seems he wants to mine for free,it does not work that way, especially if you have no knowledge of how mining works or how to build a PC from scratch  Roll Eyes

Now add a case if you want..........so your gonna need ALOT more than $200  Roll Eyes

I have several mobos, powersupplies, lots of extra ram & cpu's layin around cause I scrap PCs & build my own,I also have copies of various OS's I can install for free  Wink

No I do not give parts away, these parts I have are crappy & may die at anytime,I can live with that fact cause I build PCs & can handle ANY problem they give me  Cool

As others have said. For 200$ you cant get enough hardware to make any money. I would say that you would need to invest at least 1000$  before it is even worth considering.

then you mean asic because there is no desktop that cost $200 or less for mining

and any asic for that price is worthless

I need a system with both CPU and GPU either Desktop or Laptop

I will prefer to go for Desktop as machine can get enough space. But rather that using computer power for mining why don't you go for mining hardware it will lot more suitable for mining and getting good ROI rather that doing mining on PC.

LMAO,BTC mining is a NO profit endeavor....UNLESS you have FREE electricity  Roll Eyes
(If BTC hits $1200-1800 then it will be worth the power & miner costs)

With a PC/GPU mining you can,if you pick the right coins make up to 3 times as much with the same power consumption  Wink

And the parts do not lose their value as ASIC miners do.

$200 ain't gonna get you but MAYBE 1 vid card  Cheesy

I don't think you have read very much in this forum  Cheesy

Both system are different and used to run different scrypts.

First we have to consider GPU. GPU used to run specific scrypts as example X11, X13, NF14, Cryptonight(Cryptonote), Neocrypt, Ethash, Qubit, Quark etc to mine that particulate currencies.

And

CPU used to run SHA256 and SCRYPT. Now its totaly depend upon what configuration your machine have.

Because GPU mining is far netter that CPU mining if consider to ROI.
