so your saying its best for me to mine just ZEC on my cards over ZCL or anything else? What about MPH auto equihash?

Heres what NICE HASH SAYS

CPU#1 cryptonight 0.000 H/s
GPU #1, 3, 4 equihash 755.188 H/s
GPU #2 Lyra2REv2 23.719 MH/s

Daily Estimated earnings 7.42

INPUT WOULD LIKE TO DITCH NICE HASH, MAYBE MINE ZCL ON SUPERNOVA?

so like Equihash   1047.56 Sol/s just Equihash

You benchmark the system several times, each time with different settings.  For example, bench1 on stock settings as a baseline reference, bench2 with min cclock and max memclock to assess eth/xmr/other memory-intensive Lagos, bench3 with high cclock to assess gpu-intensive algos, etc.  It takes some time, but once you've thoroughly evaluated the system you have a lot of useful info.

Whichever algo your rig is best at, you mine at e.g. miningpoolhub, and autoexchange to the coin you want.

Well, probably he got shitty RAM in those cards like I have..
MY 1060's are only capable to do 18.6 Mhs on Eth hash and 295 sol/s on Equihash Cheesy

NVIDIA Cards best perform on ZCASH , so it's recommended to mine ZCASH (EQUIHASH) on NVIDIA cards

My graphics card 1050ti issue of 15.6 Mh/s each with overclocking. Are your numbers without overclocking? 15,6 for 1060 is a very small value. Must be 22 to 23 Mh/s with proper overclocking.

You should mine any equihash coin with those cards since they have the hynix memory.  Unfortunately, hynix memory is more common with the newer 1060's and they don't perform well with Ethash mining.  They should be comparable with every other algorithm that is not memory intensive.

You got a good deal in this market.  Not crazy good but it was a good buy nonetheless.

maybe is more profitable be something from cryptonight coins for short term

Thanks

So mine something like ZCL, BTG, ZEC, ZEN, HUSH With these cards?
So its better for me to mine Ethereum on AMD Setup then nvidia?

I really just wanna mine ethereum over other alt coins, Any recommendations on what to mine to hold ZCL, BTG, ZEC, ZEN, HUSH?

That is a really good deal.

If you really want to have ethereum and don't care what you mine. Go to MiningPoolHub and start mining an Eqihash coin but have them do payouts in Ethereum. There is a fee to have it converted but it's not that bad. That way you can mine an optimal coin and get paid the ethereum you want.

At op this man has it right

FYI I think afterburner cannot be reading the power quite right.  Since the 1070 has a 150W tdp, 50% powlim seems unrealistic.  Based on my killawatt readings the 1070s are pulling about 100W from the wall.  So maybe AB is reading -50% TDP as -50W TDP.  It's a mixed amd/nvidia rig and I think that explains it.

In my experience Pascal gpus do best on eth with max underclock on the core.  My 1070s are set to -400 core clock, 50% power, +750 memclock, 32 mhs.

Some Pascal cards do not perform this well on eth.  Silicon lottery, lower quality memory, or whatever reason.  But basically all of them can do well on equihash.

Since you're unfamiliar with these gpus and with mining generally, it would be convenient for you to download nicehash and use its benchmarking tool.  That can help you assess.  If you don't want to put in extra effort, you can just plug and play to mine on nicehash.  Or you can use the benchmark data to help you optimize.

Good luck.

6 gb cards would be better for minning. If you gonna buy second rig then buy more powerful GPU

Reduce to -100 core and +800 memory to see if it improves ethash rate. If it doesnt you probably have Hynix memory and you should switch to equihash.

So make new afterbuner settings

Power limit 80
Temp limit 83
Core Cock -200
memory Clock (MHz) +800
Fan Speed 58

What hash should I look for after this change?

1060 doesn't excellent on mining Ethash Algorithm such ETH, jump to Equihash algorithm such ZEC. and you can read OP about 1060.

That is a really good deal.

Not advice but a question I have:

Shouldn't OP be mining something other than ETH with low mem nvidia cards?  equihash? neoscrypt?

You should be mining ropecoin Undecided

I have a 1060 6gb card and get about 23 Mhs on ETH. I would switch to a coin that uses equihash, nvidia cards seem to do better with equihash.
