Is "Castellano" the most correct term? The thread in "other" is named Español, and that's the word I've always heard.
According to some Spanish language speakers, castellano is the proper term. I happen to think that using castellano implies authenticity and sounds better.

I don't see many Spanish posts in the "other" section.

The "Spanish" thread is 3 pages long already. Moreover, and more importantly, several different topics have been or are being discussed, which is very impractical to follow in a single thread. Having a dedicated subsection would ease and encourage creation of new topics and participation to the existing ones.

All south America (except Brasil), central America, Mexico and Spain speak Spanish. That's a huge lot of people, and in particular, in many countries in America people would be (are) very interested in Bitcoin and its possible uses. It's not a big deal to provide a subforum for a specific language, and I didn't even think one would have to argue for having one in Spanish, which is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world.

BTW, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Esperanto, from the number of messages, would sure deserve one too, but they didn't seem to be asking for one yet.

Hi, several persons are asking for a dedicated subforum in Spanish instead of the one big thread in Local/Other.

Could you please create it and move the current thread in Spanish into it?

Gracias a lot! Wink
