your PSU is too ligh....
r9 290 consumption is strong, they normally use 330 or more watt each.
so, if you run 2 cards for 660w and the idle for other 70w you are over the limit of your psu.
ocz 850w is guaranted for 80% efficienty that is 680w.
add an other PSU (750w) for 1 card, u can use add2psu adapter for made it.
other issue, dont use cgminer 3.7.2, better if u use SGminer 4.0.0 that is specifically made for scrypt mining and able to improve sigificantly your hashrate.
