Merits rewards implemented in this forum to become a better one. Posting with none sense will not bring you to gain merit. It is for those with high quality,meaningful,constructive and useful post that anyone read can learn. But sometimes it was not complied. Other members don't even give a single merit even your post is great. It really difficult to earn merit but it is very rewarding and beneficial in this forum.
The merit system is a system that has been introduced to make the forum a good one. Taking this award without any entitlement will really make the forum a bad place and poor quality, So merit's goal is to encourage creating good posts on the forum. Even some members are trying to sell merit, that is really damaging to the forum but there is a fact that since the merit system came in, I have not seen it used properly by members. According to my observations, even the most helpful posts do not even get 1 merit, Members are so disrespectful that they can not even send a 1 merit and this leads to events like merit selling. let's make the forum a better place

This isn't an appropriate use of the merit system, which is supposed to reward well-written or very informative posts. Basically I wouldn't support any use of merits that would reward shitposters, which you know damn well would be the vast majority of lottery participants, since they'd only have to write a number for their post.
