It is also an option, thanks.

I'm interested that the thread does not get lost.
I do not worry about having fewer visits, I prefer technical comments and quality.
I think there is little interest in the nodes and we do not talk enough about them.

You can simply determine if it is necessary to move your thread to technical discussion.

As of the moment they are right that yor thread is actually gaining a real discussion and in fact it has more serious participants.

Just in case you will start seeing spammy posts in your thread then moving it would be your best option but ofcourse there would be lesser participants

I hate to have BD on ignore, but I just don't see a point posting there.  If I do, my post is either going to be ignored or deleted when mods occasionally delete threads en masse.

The threads only thrash threads which are comoletely irrelevant and adds nothing of value, or is posted in the wrong board, in this case it is sometimes moved to a more appropriate board.

It's very easy to spot a thread which is irrelevant or in the wrong board, and report it, as it's mostly reports of other members which points out which thread to thrash or move to the mods. And you can report it rather than commenting on it.

Ok, now with the answers, what section do you advise me?

from: ETFbitcoin
Thanks, then I move it to Development & Technical Discussion or Bitcoin Technical Support?

from: The Pharmacist
Thanks, I need to know which section is correct.
For the answers I see Bitcoin Discussion is not the best.

from: Coolcryptovator
I assure you, this is not my intention, you see that at the moment everyone agrees to move the thread to another section.

from: The Pharmacist
Ok, thanks, I did not know, now I eliminate them.

I will update this post with the answers.

(If you think that this thread may seem spam, I delete it, in Meta I'm not looking for merits or visits for my thread.)

I don't see any problem with that thread being in Bitcoin Discussion other than visibility, i.e., it's an appropriate section but as I said it's probably going to get avalanched by shit threads in no time.

Just a tip:  there's a rule against posting consecutively here, and people have gotten temp-banned for doing so.  You should consolidate your answers to multiple posts into a single post of your own instead of posting 3 times in a row.

I don't think you need post new thread to support you on another thread. Do you think more visitor on meta from Bitcoin Discussion board ? Really not. So I don't see any point of this thread except expecting more merit (honestly). I think you have received enough for that post you mentioned. Try make your name  so quickly is not good for future.

The thread is fine and I just posted in it, in fact.  I merited a post you made in it, as it cleared up a tiny uncertainty I had about running a full node and also to diss PIVX.

You got plenty of merit for the OP of that thread, so I don't see what the problem is and why you need people's approval.  If it seems like nobody's posting in your thread, that's because it's in Bitcoin Discussion, which is infested with shitposters.  Any thread you start there is going to get buried in a matter of minutes unless the thread title is some sort of simple question that spammers can write a short answer to--that's the sad but true fact about BD.

I don't see a problem here: you've created a serious thread, and managed to keep it free from spammers. That's a good thing, especially in Bitcoin Discussion.
Yeah, that is no easy task in that section.  I'd say at least 90% of posts there are complete crap even if some of the threads themselves are useful.  I hate to have BD on ignore, but I just don't see a point posting there.  If I do, my post is either going to be ignored or deleted when mods occasionally delete threads en masse.  Plus it clogs up my new topics feed with threads I know I'm never going to post in.

I made this thread because I thought it was interesting to know how many Bitcointalk users have a Full Node online, I did a survey and an explanation of the advantages of having a Full Node, download links, help links and more. I have visitors, but few participate.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-many-full-nodes-bitcoin-online-5080565

It may be due to lack of information?
Poorly structured?
This topic does not matter?
It is in the wrong section?

I would like to know your opinion.

Thanks.

In 10 days you have 3 page in your thread, in total 50+ posts is made and you get some merits for your work. Only problem could be that you open thread in Bitcoin Discussion and not in Bitcoin Technical Support what would be a more appropriate board.

If you want to fix that just search move buton in your thread and it can be very easily moved to : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=4.0

Ok, maybe it's more appropriate in Bitcoin Technical Support.
