Is it possible that Genesis Mining have a "minimum payout" feature activated? So they are crediting the amounts to your "account", but will only payout when your account hits a minimum balance like 0.01 BTC or something? What sort of amounts are we talking about here?

Also, does Genesis Mining show any Transaction IDs? or does it just say payment to address: 1bitcoinAddress?

in my experience, if we can not make minimum balance, the our profit in that day will be accumulate for next day until we reach minimum balance. genesis mining only said payment to address and not giving any transaction ID to us but if we can reach minimum payment for daily, they will send us the payment into our wallet.

Thanks very much for the response.

I do see the addresses generated, but they have "0 transactions" when I checked on blockchain.info  (Thanks for the tip, btw.)  This is a legitimate mining service (genesis mining) I know that people use them and successfully get payouts.  The addresses in the "Payments" are the ones that I have specified in genesis settings (I see the record there) so not sure what the problem is.  Just to test, I switched the address to my coinbase.com btc address...I see the payout on to that address on the genesis side, but not coinbase.  Really at a loss.

Thanks again for the response and if there is any other relevant information you could provide, I would be very much obliged.

No, addresses are not one time only... although it is not advised for privacy reasons, you can re-use addresses multiple times.

On your "Payments" screen, you should see the address that was generated when you did the "Request".

1. Is this definitely the address that your cloudmining service has?
2. Have you checked that address on a blockexplorer like www.blockchain.info? Does it show the payments being made by your cloud mining service and a non zero balance?

Hello.

It is entirely plausible that I just don't know what I'm doing but...so I installed mutlibit (latest Windows version.)  I have a cloud mining subscription that does a daily payout to the BTC address that you specify.  I did "request" in Multibit and and provided the given BTC address to the mining service.  I've checked after a week - the payouts have indeed been happening every 24 hours to the address provided...but my balance in Multibit is 0 btc.    (Now, I know that each time you do a "request" in multibit, a NEW address is generated....so are these one time only?  i.e. you can not provide a same address that lasts for sometime / ever?)  What am I doing wrong?

Thank you very, very much in advance!!
