Is BitMex an exchange? You can get it back if BitMex is willing to help you, because if they have control over their deposit address private keys, they can recover those tokens.

Contact them, explain the situation and pray for them to help you.

LOL, I see the ChipMixer team is on the case. Yeah, this happened to me lately, in my advanced wisdom I sent ETH to an ETH token deposit address. You are basically at the mercy of the exchange with stuff like this; be polite, but don't be too persistent. this will most likely take a while, as they put up a warning against this on every exchange I have ever used.

Some  takeways:

Always double check that addy.

hi i sent TETHER to BTC i asked bittrex+bitmex for help (sent bittrex to bitmex) they said "You'll need to research how to remove a private key from a Bitcoin address and import it into a USDT wallet to recover these coins. You may want to contact someone from the USDT community for help." i don't know what to do. can i get it back?

I am not a technical person so I don't have any idea on how to really get it back. All I know is that it is nearly impossible to gain back any coin or token lost because of wrong wallet address as the destination. I think there is always a warning on that which Bittrex is always providing so that you are responsible with your own wallet address and any mistake is always at your own risk.

This is the big reason why we have to double check everything so that things are perfect before we click the send button. You might as well charge this to your line-up of experience in dealing with the world of cryptocurrency. And may this be a big lesson to all of us to always be extra careful because we are dealing here with digital tidbits of information and not the physical fiat money (well even fiat money can also be lost anytime if we are not super careful!).
