Crypto is King.
When you start your pc offline press F8 choose safe mode and try to restore to an earlier date from there, if that doesn't work son you'll have to get urself sum linux and clone her files from there and hopefully save em

first of all. do not install or remove any programs or file, disconect pc from network, shut down. do not touch your HDD, you dont want to overwrite the data on top.  scan the hdd with some more professional tools.
but i am not sure what do you mean virus and what damage does it made

just loading your response probably overwrote the file.  Smiley

Some application or software recovery doesn't support all file extension. If you are infected with virus much better to fix and remove all viruses before you start recovering it.

Or you might be infected with ransomware where some important files are hidden.

I recommend you to try Kaspersky they have a free trial install it then update the database after that deep scan your PC.

If the kaspersky detects just disinfected them or delete. then after that, if you are infected with ransomware you need to use some tools to decrypt and shows all of your hidden files.

dont worry it's free you don't need to pay.
i would not recommend to instal these tools before scan as by doing so it is posibility to write it on top of lost data. that would be worst scenario
after the scan, yes
