well there is always some kind of standard for everything, and the width of these banners are always smaller than 728 pixels in majority of websites, for ease of showing these banners on every device and with any resolution and settings.

The GunBot ad is much wider than the rest of the ads.
If you cut of the "extra" length of the add, it would equal roughly 20% of the length of the bitvest add.
I wouldnt call being 20% longer much wider.
I think if it was 50% longer it would be much wider

You probably shouldn't be complaining then. Just be thankful you can see the ads.

some of the ads are bigger in size (the length) and since it is a picture (eg gunbot is 1070x36) it doesn't scale like the rest of the page causing a horizontal scrollbar to appear on lower resolutions or if i have zoomed in or have my browser in anything buy maximized
I am on 175% zoom for better readability on 1920*1080 resolution and still see this problem. it is a little annoying to have to scroll to the right to be able to read the hidden rest of the text.
