Out of all the methods I have used this one. I have sent my coins to a paper wallet and even after over 24 hours it is at 80+ confirmations. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Any explanation would be appreciated. pedrog send me your bitcoin address.

Well, if you have control of your coins, that's fine. Smiley

80 confirmations take around 13 hours, maybe your transaction took a while to be accepted.

Let the chips fall where they may.
Sounds like if you have enough disk-space/bandwidth, your coins should show up.

Mulitbit saves wallet creation dates so that it only has to care about blocks after that date for computing your balance.

I have  a wallet.aes.json file but do not know how to access the bitcoins. I am trying to import it into Multibit version 0.5.17 but I get the following error. I know I am entering the correct password.

"There were missing dates. Have to go back to genesis block"

I will send 0.1 BTC to anyone that can help me withdraw the bitcoins somehow.
