Out of my 5 deposits this week, 4 got stuck  Angry
I think they are just greedy and are manipulating the markets in some cases. I wouldnt use that site at all if it wasnt for high market liquidity.

any new news on the problem?

No respond from Cryptsy and still no balance!

Disgusting.... that is really bad customer service. Mine have now been lost for 20 hours too.  This exchange is running way over their heads. They constantly add new coins and no support for the customers they have there now.

Where are our coins???

I get a customer service reply after a few hours....

" hey let us know if your coins have turned up now"

WTF??? they were given my account id and the tranaction id.... and instead of looking into the issue and checking my account to get this shit sorted out. They instead decide to just ask me if the coins have been added to the balance on their own exchange??

IT IS CRAPTSY NOT THE DOGE CHAIN

I sent deposits to other exchanges and it arrived within a few minutes, Crapsy are up to something i don't buy their bullshit excuses. It happens every time there is a spike. Either they are unable to fix their shit which means it should be avoided and a danger to your funds or else they hold up deposits to manipulate the spike.

Use a different exchange until they sort themselves out (when, if ever, is anybody's guess). If enough people do this then they might take a bit more notice.

For DOGE I use Vircurex.

Please see below for my transaction record. Opened a ticket#92870 said it will be fixed shortly 3 days ago, so then I opened another ticket#97173 asking how long is considered "shortly" in CRYPTSY's term?Huh? Still MISSING my balance after 4 days! With recent Doge's price spike, these guys may be holding our coins to make profits in behind the scene! That's not acceptable! Angry

I had an issue with some DOGE that dissapered on Cryptsy, however around 1AM EST today, it seems the people @ Cryptsy did a DOGE coin wallet update or fix. My funds re-appeared and are 'usable'. From what I have been told by very knowledgeable people that have been doing this a long time is, that after many transactions the wallet.dat of ANY coin gets very large & laggy & needs to be 'rebuilt'. Just imagine this on the scale of what Cryptsy does hourly, or even daily, especially in light of the recent DOGE volume. I hope your problems gets resolved soon, as I know it can be frustrating.

They make .5% BTC on every sell/buy... the volume... they can afford to have a staff 24/7

Even better, at least let the public know that your doing something... not just let it be broke, and then inform people  "O BTW we finally fixed it ".

a little while a go (a few weeks) someone posted the volumes of cryptsy top 4 traded coins - of those coins the daily income for cryptsy from the fees were $68,000    - A DAY!

so they can definitely afford lots of staff

I tried craptsy for about a day and gave up on that piece of shit.   Bter has a much more responsive UI, faster deposit/withdrawal, and much lower trade fees (0.2% vs 0.5%)

This link will give you 10% off bter fees for 6 months so it'll be 0.18%.

Yeah we need transparency, and they should inform and stop people from depositing to their website when they know their freakin wallet is broken. Myself is a experienced tech person, yes the wallet can be built up but they could have prevented by having multiple wallets and using SSD hard drive to improve I/O performance. My balance is still missing as of this moment!

Sorry to hear that happened to you. I hope you get your coins soon. MultiDoge has been launched, I suggest you use MultiDoge and avoid Crypsty for dogecoin.

Hi guys,
UPDATED: To be fair to cryptsy.com, I just want to clarify that the missing 258,400 Doge was my fault because I accidentally deposit my Dogecoin to a Digicoin address(D9RHWRuWZWUUET5q9HnBBCYsMDLiVwC7gf). Cryptsy was kind enough to help me recover those coins. They are currently working on it. I will do another update once it's successfully recovered. Cryptsy.com are good guys, but yeah they still need to work on the deposit/withdraw speed, as well as the design of the website so people like me won't accidentally click on digitcoin deposit. Give them sometimes things will get better.
